Esyah Pippa-White Esyah Pippa-White 6'2" | PG Gresham | 2023 State OR (2023 Gresham)
Although the 6-foot-2 Pippa-White took a moment to get himself going offensively, he still led the charge for the Gophers on Sunday, scoring 17 points, including three three-pointers. The senior combo guard typically does his damage from the outside, and Sunday was no different, as the to-be senior knocked down a variety of contested jump-shots from both inside and outside the arch. Pippa-White also played with notable strength for a guard, using his frame to shake off defenders inside.
RJ Alexander RJ Alexander 6'1" | CG Gresham | 2024 State OR (2024 Gresham)
Alexander claimed secondary scoring honors for the Gophers in the win, knocking in a contested three on his way to eight points. It wasn’t a blockbuster performance, but Alexander was certainly notable, boasting a sturdy frame and a pretty shot motion as Gresham pulled out the win. Alongside Pippa-White, the outside shooting of Alexander will be key for the Gophers moving forward.
Ryan Schleicher Ryan Schleicher 5'7" | PG Tualatin | 2023 State OR (2023 Tualatin)
Schleicher continued an impressive weekend on Sunday morning, scoring 11 points for a Tualatin offense that struggled at times without two of its most prolific scorers. As he pushed the pace on offense and found the net with a three, Schleicher proved himself as an effective lead guard with a deep bag of offensive tools.
Jayden Fortier Jayden Fortier 6'3" | SF Tualatin | 2024 State OR (2024 Tualatin)
At 6-foot-5, the powerful Fortier led the Timberwolves in scoring with 13 points. A tight end recruit on the gridiron, Fortier was spectacular on the hardwood on Sunday, playing big for Tualatin against a Gresham team with notable size and athleticism. Throughout the game, Fortier may have been the most consistent offensive force, finishing efficiently inside through contact. Furthermore, Fortier’s ability to get to the rack garnered multiple trips to the foul line.
Nate Stiffler Nate Stiffler 6'4" | SF Thurston | 2025 State OR (2025 Thurston)
Stiffler was a rare bright spot for a Thurston team that struggled against Sprague on Sunday, scoring 18 points from practically every inch of the floor. At 6-foot-5, Stiffler plays big for the Colts, but his ability as a shooter projects him as a wing or a stretch four at the next level. The to-be sophomore buried two threes, went 8-for-9 from the foul line, and blocked multiple shots on Sunday, proving why he’s an intriguing prospect in the class of 2025.
