Kaden Braxton Kaden Braxton 6'2" | CG Shakopee | 2024 State MN (6’0 2024 G, Minnesota Crossfire Becker)- Braxton was a leading force in an incredible comeback victory Friday night. Braxton recorded a handful of steals in the second half, resulting in fast-break lay-ups or trips to the free-throw line. He was constantly probing the lane and finding open shooters or creating space for his own, close-range jumper.
Kyan Blomquist (6’3 2024 F, Minnesota Rush)- Blomquist is a stockier, stretch forward who uses excellent body control and longe range shooting to beat opponents offensively. He has great positioning defensively and using his stronger frame, he is able to hold his ground and play physically. Blomquist also is a solid rebounder.
Timmy Denedo (5’9 2024 PG, Minnesota Rush)- Denedo is a primary ball-handler for his squad. He has a tight handle and uses speed to get around defenders. He is always searching for the open man and making the right pass. Defensively, he’s a pest on the ball; quick feet and active hands allow him to succeed. Denedo is balanced around the rim and plays the game incredibly hard.
Alex Kane (5’10 2024 G, Minnesota Rush)- Kane’s a sharpshooter who’s always in the right place at the right time. He does a terrific job of playing away from the ball, reading his teammates, and spotting up for open shots. He thrives off the catch-and-shoot scenario but showed flashes as a player who can create his own shot. Kane shoots it with good mechanics and a smooth tempo.
Riley Nelson Riley Nelson 6'2" | SG Orono | 2024 State MN (6’2 2024 G, Northstar Titans Wynia)- Nelson is a taller guard who displays great athleticism on the court. He’s a primary ball-handler that does a nice job of beating defenses from the inside out. He uses both hands well and is incredibly shifty. He can score in a variety of ways and even tried a poster dunk in a half-court setting. Nelson has good vision and is comfortable running the offense.
Ty Burgoon (6’0 2024 G, Northstar Titans Wynia)- Burgoon can shoot it from anywhere and does so with beautiful rhythm. A pure jump shot with great elevation and almost flawless mechanics allow him to shoot it over defenders. He’s good in both pull-up and catch-and-shoot situations. Burgoon displayed abilities as a ball-handler and playmaker as well.
