Top players from all over the country finally had a chance to play with their new prep schools and we got to see improved games from tons of different players. At every position there were college prospects for every level D3-D1 showcasing amazing skills. These are some of the guys who really raised their stock!
Austin Hunt Austin Hunt 6'4" | SG Milton Academy | 2024 State #278 Nation NLG 6’4 Milton Academy 2024 – Hunt was my MVP of the weekend; if anyone raised their stock, I believe it was him more than anyone. His athleticism immediately jumped out to me as Hunt had five dunks in one game alone. After seeing that, I settled in to see more about his game. He was impressive shooting the ball from behind the three-point line and off the bounce in the mid-range. He was listed as a SF, but after watching, Hunt is a SG at the next level with mid to high major talent.
Joson Sanon Joson Sanon 6'5" | SF Vermont Academy | 2024 State #11 Nation NLG 6’5 SF Vermont Academy 2025 – The freshman star from Vermont Academy was the best in 2025 I saw all weekend. Well deserving of his offer to Marquette, Sanon showed off his length & athleticism in a variety of ways. The 6’6 SF was able to block & change a ton of shots around the rim even with his slight frame, which will only grow with significant time in the weight room. Sanon was on the rim all weekend with one dunk over two defenders in the halfcourt that I will remember for quite some time. Shot it well from three and has excellent form with a quick release. Sanon is a prospect I will keep my eyes on over the coming year
Papa Kante Papa Kante 6'10" | C South Kent | 2023 State #118 Nation NLG 6’10 C South Kent School 2023 – Papa Kante Papa Kante 6'10" | C South Kent | 2023 State #118 Nation NLG was my favorite to watch this weekend. His energy was contagious, and it was impressive to see how he led and communicated with his team. At his position, being a coach on the floor is rare. Some of the best footwork I have seen from a high school forward with the ability to shoot it well from three. Kante’s game was above the rest, and I could see that even when he had an off game. Very fun prospect to watch.
Jack Graham Jack Graham 6'4" | SG Milton Academy | 2023 State NLG 6’4 SF Milton Academy 2023 – Jack Graham Jack Graham 6'4" | SG Milton Academy | 2023 State NLG impressed me in the moments when I got to see him. A very confident shooter who has one of the best forms and quickest releases I’ve seen. He also does an outstanding job getting open; he is very conditioned and never stops moving around. I also noticed he screens others well to try to make himself available. He also surprised me with some extremely tough finishes around the rim in traffic with either hand.
Will Franks Will Franks 6'7" | SG Brewster Academy (NH) | 2023 State NLG 6’8 PF Brewster Academy 2023 – This kid has a confidence level that cannot be denied! He was knocking down shots from everywhere, and I mean everywhere. His range extended far beyond high school three point range. He has the green light from his coach as he was pulling up in transition off of the catch and off the dribble. At 6’8 he had a really nice frame which allowed him to fight in the paint with opposing bigs and he rebounded well also. Is a stretch four who could be very serviceable at the next level.
