6’0 PG Evan Young || American Fork High School || 2022 ||
Evan played with the Utah Stars/ Mountain Stars most of his high school grassroots season until he suited up with the Salt Lake Rebels as an unsigned senior. Evan played well this Spring as eh showcased his skills and even his underrated athleticism. Evan is a fast little PG that can get up and down the floor in a hurry. He gets down-hill and he is hard to stay in-front of. He can create opportunities for his teammates as he can get in the lane and draw two. Good outside shot and he could really pick it up on the defensive end as a player that can guard the whole court. Evan was one of the big reasons that AF was able to capture another 6A State Championship. He will not only bring all of his skills to the prep program he will be bringing a competitive chip on his shoulder as well. Evan is a winner and he will only get better and sharpen his skills this next year at RSL Academy Prep.
6’4 SG Kolton Smith || Skyline High School || 2022 ||
Kolton was a highly respected shooter last season not only in 5A but across the state and like Evan he suited up for Utah Stars/Mountain Stars during his AAU high school days but this Spring he was playing as an unsigned senior for the Colorado Hawks. Kolton is a knockdown shooter with size and this next year he looks to add more dimensions to his game next year at RSL Academy Prep. Kolton is looking to prove that his shooting will not only translate to the next level it is also a skill that is much needed in order to be successful in general for a team to win. Kolton could easily turn into a hot prospect when his stint at the prep school level comes to an end. Kolton is capable of going off in a hurry and from deep. Look for him to make an immediate impact as he does posses a high IQ. Stay tuned.
