First Team
Drae Vasser Drae Vasser 6'1" | PG Trinity | 2024 State KY , 6’1 PG Louisville Trinity (KY) 2024 (MVP) Vasser led his team to the 64 team title with stellar play all weekend. Vasser scored the ball efficiently and made winning plays when the game was tight. Vasser certainly improved his stock in front of plenty of college coaches playing on the main court.
Travis Perry Travis Perry 6'2" | PG Lyon County | 2024 State #115 Nation KY , 6’2 SG Lyon County (KY) 2024 Perry was the most prolific scorer of the weekend, making shots from literally everywhere on the court. Perry has a quick release and was unafraid to shoot from literally anywhere on the court. Lyon County blew out their first three opponents before losing a one point game to Indy Cathedral in the semis of the 32 team bracket.
Vincent Dawson III Vincent Dawson III 6'5" | SG Great Crossing | 2025 State #327 Nation KY , 6’4 SF Great Crossing (KY) 2025 Dawson used his athleticism to take defenders off the bounce and score around the basket while also knocking down open shots for Great Crossing. Dawson was their most consistently productive player all weekend and looked like a no brainer Division I prospect in my eyes. Great Crossing fell in the title game to Trinity, but Dawson and some of his teammates certainly caught some eyes this weekend.
Trent Edwards Trent Edwards 6'8" | PF George Rogers Clark | 2023 State KY , 6’7 PF George Rogers Clark (KY) 2023 Edwards picked up his first division I offer this weekend from Morehead State as he was productive all weekend. Edwards has good length to play on the wing and grabbed a lot of offensive rebounds and used his leaping ability to finish at the basket. Edwards has a funky push shot but he made around four or five 3-pointers in the two games that I watched, showing that he’s a threat from the outside. Lots of upside on Edwards as I don’t expect this single Division I offer to be his last.
Xavier Booker Xavier Booker 6'11" | PF Cathedral | 2023 State #4 Nation IN , 6’11 C Indy Cathedral (IN) 2023 The rise of Xavier Booker Xavier Booker 6'11" | PF Cathedral | 2023 State #4 Nation IN has been here for a while and the man who drew Chris Holtman (Ohio State) Wes Miller (Cincinnati) Juwan Howard (Michigan) John Calipari (Kentucky) and assistants from Indiana, Notre Dame, Kansas and Gonzaga was dominant once again this weekend. Booker is a certified five-star prospect with a unique ability to move his feet defensively and protect the rim. Booker can also make shots on the perimeter which allows Indy Cathedral to space the floor for their shooters. Indy Cathedral won the 32 team bracket off of the stellar play once again from Booker.
Second Team
Trey Perry Trey Perry 6'1" | PG Lakota East | 2025 State OH , 5’10 PG Lakota East (OH) 2025: Perry is one tough customer from the point guard spot and his defensive intensity is going to work wonders under Clint Adkins for Lakota East. Perry had numerous pickpockets of opposing ball-handlers throughout the weekend and almost helped lead his team back from a double-digit deficit to Frederick Douglass in the semifinals of the 32 team bracket. Perry also shot the ball at a higher percentage from behind the 3-point line this weekend and was one of the leading scorers on a balanced Lakota East squad.
Kai Simpson Kai Simpson 6'3" | PG Frederick Douglass | 2023 State KY , 6’2 CG Frederick Douglass (KY) 2023 Simpson led his team to the title game of the 32 team bracket, making tough shots off the bounce and playing with good pace. Simpson hit big shots down the stretch of tight games and made the right plays when Frederick Douglass would get in a lull offensively.
Jasper Johnson Jasper Johnson 6'5" | PG Woodford County | 2025 #15 Nation MO , 6’3 CG Woodford County (KY) 2025 Johnson is one heck of a prospect as the 6’3 CG was everywhere this weekend. An elite athlete, Johnson used his quickness and explosiveness to rise above defenders at the rim for layups and dunks. Johnson also had some tough shots fall with tight defense. On a Woodford County team full of talent, Johnson shines above the rest and has the potential to be a high major prospect.
Lawrent Rice Lawrent Rice 6'4" | PG Huber Heights Wayne | 2023 State #184 Nation OH , 6’4 PG Huber Heights Wayne (OH) 2023 Rice was the unofficial steals leader from the weekend, getting at least four in every contest he played. Rice did a good job of jumping passing lanes and then capitalizing on fast break opportunities off of these steals. Rice also started to knock down some shots from the perimeter, something he’s struggled to do on the EYBL circuit. Rice is currently mulling over a handful of high major offers and it will be interesting to see where he lands.
Alexander Lloyd Alexander Lloyd 6'4" | SG Westminster | 2025 State #64 Nation FL , 6’3 SG Westminster Academy (FL) 2025 On a weekend where the 2025 class put their stamp on the game, Lloyd shined above the rest as the top underclassmen prospect at the event. A tough shot maker, Lloyd was pulling up in defenders faces and knocking it down. Lloyd also has impressive athleticism in the open court, throwing down numerous dunks and layups in transition. Lloyd has a chance to be a five-star prospect and this weekend was another example of him showing what type of talent he is.
