Farrell played some of his best basketball to date during session 2 of DMV Live. The energetic forward averaged roughly 17 points and 8 rebounds in 4 games. By all accounts, Farrell was one of the biggest winners of the second weekend.
Tremayne Hawkins | forward | Rock Creek Green (MD)
Hawkins is a new name who caught our eye this month. He plays with a high motor and makes a difference on both ends of the floor for his team. Hawkins double-doubled in 3 out of 5 games at DMV Live this month.
Makhai Johnson | wing | Bishop Ireton (VA)
Johnson is another relatively unknown player who stood out during DMV Live. He shot 44% from 3 for Bishop Ireton on high volume. Johnson, who is listed at 6-foot-4, also averaged closed to 5 rebounds per game.
Drew McKenna Drew McKenna 6'7" | PF Glenelg Country | 2024 #61 Nation MD | forward | Glenelg Country (MD)
McKenna’s stock hit an all-time high after coaches finally got an up-close look at him in person. He averaged roughly 18 points and 8 rebounds during 5 games at DMV Live. McKenna was ridiculously efficient from the field for the most part. He had a game during which he shot 10 for 10 from the field. Through two sessions, McKenna shot about 60% from the field, 82% from the foul line, and 35% from behind the arc.
Logan Suber | guard | Mt. Zion (MD)
Suber is a two-way playmaker at the point guard position for Mt. Zion. He averaged 7 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals during 5 games at DMV Live. Suber does not need to score to impact the game. He was a factor in helping his team achieve a 3-2 record.
Isaiah Vick Isaiah Vick 6'7" | PF Patriot | 2024 State VA | forward | Patriot (VA)
Vick averaged about 9 points and 6 rebounds for Patriot during Capitol Hoops Summer League. He double-doubled in their opening-round playoff win over SSSAS and impressed at DC Live. Vick is heading into his junior year with some positive momentum.
