Continue ReadingSpring is here and that can only mean one thing. It’s Circuit Season! The Prephoops Circuit is upon us. I will be covering and providing exposure for the Hustle Region Circuit. The Hustle Region Circuit consists of AAU Programs from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. The circuit features 10 stops including the Hustle Region Final in Irvine July 15th – 17th. Stop 7 brings us to the Pacific Northwest and Portland Oregon, where almost 30 teams are competing. Here’s a look at our 17U All-Tournament Team.
Parker Gerrits Parker Gerrits 6'1" | PG Olympia | 2023 State WA 6’1 CG Roots Academy 2023 (#2PHWA 2023) – Played a notch above the competition all weekend. The scorer shooter flashed some good playmaking skills, raising his backcourt value in the process.

Tai Run Williams 6’4 SF No Fear 2023 – The uber-athletic forward was a human highlight reel this weekend. TRW sprints the floor like a thoroughbred, finishing several transition plays with thunderous dunks.

Kayin Turner Kayin Turner 6'5" | SF Sunset | 2024 State OR 6’4 SG Progress Elite 2024 – The multi-skilled wing was at his best this weekend. Turner shot the ball with accuracy and seemed unstoppable when slashing to the cup.

Malik Ross 5’10 PG Smokery Elite 2022 – Ross was a good two-way PG, that locked up opposing ballhandlers with ease. In addition to his defensive prowess, he used a good wiggle, and speed to blow by opposing defenders.
Jalon Blackwell Jalon Blackwell 5'7" | PG Kentridge | 2023 State WA 5’8 PG BDH Elite 2023 – The jitterbug PG was one of the better shot makers at the event. Blackwell was able to drain several pull-up jumpers, including transition threes and mid-range shots.
