This prospect was a zone buster and if left uncovered, a guaranteed bucket. Arringdale-Klein was consistently making threes the whole day. He has a great lanky frame that is capable of adding muscle and strength. I believe by adding some more ball-handling skills and continued consistency from the three-point line, this prospect will fit in well at the next level. I like his upsides and abilities and with his continued work ethic and his great attitude, we will see his stock rise this year.
Trey Fogle (G 5’11 2024) is a great all-around prospect. He can play both point and shooting guard. He plays hard and is not afraid to get dirty and make the hustle plays. While watching him I saw him make impactful plays, whether it was making a timely shot or making a play defensive stop. Fogle displays the toughness you want to see from a guard. He has plenty of upsides and a high ceiling for growth. I believe the prospect will only get better with continued hard work and reps in the gym. I would not be surprised if this prospect has a break-out year.
Eugene Alvin Eugene Alvin 6'6" | SF Gateway | 2023 State FL (6’7 G/F 2023) is a solid prospect with plenty of upsides. As soon as I watched him play I immediately thought he should have offers pouring in. He is a top fifty player that no one has heard of. Alvin has a solid frame with plenty of room for muscle growth. This prospect can create a shot, pass, and stretch the defense with his three-ball. Alvin is a capable scorer from all three levels. My favorite thing about his game so far is his patience and his ability to let the game come to him. I even heard early echoes of player of the year for this prospect. If he stays healthy and consistent, I believe will Alvin be a recognizable name in southwest Florida basketball. This prospect is a gem, a great teammate and a leader for his team. I expect his name to become recognized immediately.
Colin Alvarez (G 5’10 2023) is a shifty guard who scores on all levels and makes plays for others. He reminds me of the swagger that Damian (Mighty Mouse) Stoudemire played with. This prospect is a tough no-nonsense kind of player. He is definitely the floor leader for his team. He is patient and picks his time to score perfectly. This prospect can play off the ball just as well with his consistent shooting abilities. I like his body language on and off the floor and I can see a very successful season with him teamed up with Eugene Alvin Eugene Alvin 6'6" | SF Gateway | 2023 State FL . Alvarez’s stock should rise. I believe he can be one of the better guards in the area.
It was the first time I watched the Community School of Naples play. I will say as they warmed up they did not pass the eye test. After the first couple of possessions, I quickly noticed the silky smooth jump shot of Jackson McAdams Jackson McAdams 6'4" | CG Naples | 2023 State FL (G 6’3 2023). This prospect was not only shooting from deep with no hesitation but you could see supreme confidence on his face. Not only does he not hesitate, he shoots at a very high percentage. McAdams made me a believer as he shot well for the duration of the shoot-out. McAdams has great size and plenty of upsides. He handles the ball well and can create off the dribble and finish. This prospect’s stock will rise this year. I hope to see continued success and consistency from this prospect this season. I believe that will make him a good candidate to play basketball on that next level.
Aidan Doyle (G 2023) is a tough nose guard who can do everything. I like his blue-collar attitude on the court. Don’t be fooled by his abilities to attack the paint. He can also shoot the lights out. You can’t relax on defense against him. This prospect has a high basketball IQ and is an extension of the coach on the floor. He is a catalyst that helps his team with his playing style of drive and kick. I absolutely love to see a team move the ball flawlessly for open uncontested shots. Doyle is a perfect fit for his team’s playing style. He just needs to get a little stronger and continue his hard work. I believe this prospect will have a great 2023 campaign.
Jahmar Johnson (G 6’4 2023) is a silky smooth guard who can get you a bucket or play lock-down defense on the opponent’s best player. This prospect is a silent assassin. Johnson has unbelievable athletic ability and supreme confidence. I saw him attempt to dunk on several players. He possesses a super athletic ability that you wouldn’t even know he has just based on his demeanor. He has a nice jump shot and is great at attacking the paint and finishing. Johnson also plays unselfishly and is a gifted passer. This prospect can easily transition to the point guard which makes him a serious Division 1 prospect. I expect his stock to start to rise quickly this year and be a household name. Johnson is easily a top 25 player in Southwest Florida. His wiry frame will be able to pack on more muscle and strength for the next level. I have high praise for Johnson and if he stays healthy this season I can see him as a first-team all-conference player.
