Harrison Miller impacted the game as King Hoops’ go-to sharpshooter and an exceptional glue guy who had multiple set plays where the offense ran through Miller or the ball was meant to come directly to him. Any time Harrison was on the floor the defense was in fear of what would happen if the ball found him because they knew the deadly three-point shot was most likely coming next. After drawing an immense amount of attention and pressure from the defense Miller began to post up and show off his distributing skills, getting in a good position with his back to the basket and kicking it out to the open shooter every time the defense collapsed, very good with the bounce pass and the touch pass and rarely turned the ball over.
Keandre Coleman | PG | Global Select
Speedster, everything Keandre Coleman did on the offensive end was fast, shifty, and elusive. His dribbling skills were phenomenal, showing good control and a tight handle, this had the ball on a string and his defenders on skates. Coleman displayed a handful of effective moves but it was his lethal in-and-out that froze defenders and allowed Keandre to do as he pleased. The Global Select lead guard proved to be a relentless slasher off the bounce who also seemed ambidextrous. As a right-handed player, Coleman got the bulk of his offense by attacking left and making a play, either completing the possession at the hoop or dropping off a smooth bounce pass to his teammate whenever their man stepped up to help challenge his shot.
Elijah Clemons | CG | Global Select
This lefty came into the game off the bench and instantly made an impact with his help defense, dribble penetration floaters, and crafty up and under layups. Clemons also showcased impressive leaping ability as he up outjumped several players on a consistent basis, finding himself near the rim every time he took flight.
Daramon Wilson | SG/SF | OneTime Legends
When it comes to high motor competitors, you won’t find many quite like Daramon Wilson. The highly active and productive prospect was willing to battle and scrap for the ball every chance he got, Wilson had several times where he snatched or ripped the ball right out his opponent’s hands with ease. His effort was simply on another level, play after play he wanted the ball more than everyone else, often, if not always being the first to the floor diving and competing for 50/50 balls. Wilson’s athleticism was also on full display and he made use of it by continuously getting into the center of the floor where he looked to attack from the top of the key, using his speed to get into the lane before fighting through traffic and contact while finding ways to finish at the rack with strength and physicality. As a rebounder, Wilson’s explosive hops made him a terror on the glass at the most opportune times, producing second-chance shot opportunities and putback layins.
Jalen Glass | SG | OneTime Legends
Jalen Glass showed a lot of potential as a pure jumpshooter, he shot the lights out and appeared nearly automatic off the catch. His off-ball movement was impeccable, he got open extremely well by staying on the move and always sprinting while looking to get to the corners in transition. Once Jalen caught fire there was no stopping him, Glass become a flame thrower from the corners and even nailed a few game-changing shots late in games to help lead his squad to victory. All in all, Jalen Glass proved to be able to drill jumpshots when they were needed the most.
