Dayton Williams, 6’5 PF Louisville Butler (KY) 2024: Williams was the most intriguing prospect in Butler’s win over Cincinnati Hughes as Williams had the highlight play of the game with a poster slam with his left hand. Williams played hard and attacked every ball off the rim including two putback layups that helped extend Butler’s lead in the second half. Williams also had a little wiggle with the ball in his hands and has some definite upside as a creator if he continues to make offensive strides.
Cole Edelen Cole Edelen 6'2" | PG Male | 2026 State KY , 5’10 PG Louisville Male (KY) 2026: Edelen is a very poised guard for his age as I was impressed with his feel for the game and comfort with the ball in his hands. Running with his older brother Jack on a talented Male squad, I enjoyed watching Cole dice up the defense with passes that were crisp and always in the shooters pocket.
Keven Adorno Keven Adorno 5'10" | PG Princeton | 2023 State OH , 5’10 PG Princeton (OH) 2024: Adorno was the best player in the entire game as Princeton advanced to the sweet 16 of the 64 team bracket. Adorno is an aware off ball defender who drew multiple charges in their wins today. Adorno shot the ball at a high percentage from the outside and was making the right read with the ball in his hands. I’m a big fan of what Adorno brings to a Princeton squad that will be fighting in a loaded GMC next season.
Kaden Magwood Kaden Magwood 6'3" | CG Western | 2025 WV , 6’1 PG Louisville Western (KY) 2025: Magwood is a special shot-creator for a 2025 lead guard and his scoring talents were on full display early in Western’s win over North Laurel. Magwood doesn’t need much space to fire and can shoot off the bounce with his impressive touch and rotation. Western’s 2025 class is loaded and they are one of the most talented teams in Kentucky and Magwood shines above the rest in my eyes.
Drae Vasser Drae Vasser 6'1" | PG Trinity | 2024 State KY , 6’1 CG Louisville Trinity (KY) 2024: Vasser was a tough point guard who got it done on both ends for Trinity in their 2-0 evening. Vasser was attacking the rim and finishing off one-foot, two-feet, left-handed and right-handed during a personal 8-0 run he made to give his team some early cushion. I liked Vasser’s defensive activity with his hands and he also answered my final question with a pull-up 3-pointer after the defense didn’t contest out of a pick-and-roll.
Alexander Lloyd Alexander Lloyd 6'4" | SG Westminster | 2025 State #64 Nation FL , 6’3 SG Westminster Academy (FL) 2025: The highest upside prospect that this article features, Lloyd was a problem for opposing squads on Friday night. Lloyd is a great shot-maker off the bounce and has good positional size to play the off guard role. Lloyd is very naturally talented as it took me less than five minutes of game time to recognize he was a big time talent. Lloyd already has an offer from Florida State and appeared in ESPN’s initial top 25 rankings in the class of 2025.
