He has a strong frame that he uses to score inside the paint and rebounds the ball at a solid rate. Although he only stands at about 6’2, his strength allows him to make a nice impact in the paint against taller players.
White Oak Sophomore Forward Antoni Ogumoro Antoni Ogumoro 6'6" | PF White Oak | 2025 NC is another name that you will want to get very famililar with sooner than later as he has the chance to be a very special prospect before it’s all said and done. He has an advanced skillset, can finish with soft touch around the rim but can step out and knock down some jumpshots. Embracing and finishing through contact is something that he does very well and he’s still only scratching the surface of what he can be.
Laney HS Sophomore Center Alan Studebaker has the size at 6’8 that catches your attention immediately. He still is a work in progress but he had moments where we saw what he could potentially be as a rebounder/interior presence if he continues to work.
New Hanover Sophomore Zeus Batts Zeus Batts 5'10" | PG New Hanover | 2025 State NC didn’t necessarily have his best showing on the offensive side of the ball but he stayed locked in on the defensive end of the ball. He moves his feet very well, has good upper body strength and caused all types of issues for players that he was matched up with, by using his combination of strength and speed.
Pine Forest HS Sophomore Forward Justin Caldwell is a raw big man that has shown some glimpses of what he can be over the next few years. Standing at a legit 6’5-6’6 with an offensive game that he’s more than comfortable with his back to the basket, he brings an old school style of game for a big man and will only get better with time.
