TCHS :
Trenton went 19-10 in 2021-22 and made it to the Mercer County Tournament Final as well as the Central Jersey Group 4 Final as a 7 seed The Tornados are looking to build on last season returning multiple starters from last year’s team including 1st Team All CVC Guards Davontay Hutson Davontay Hutson 6'2" | SG Trenton | 2023 State NJ and Antwan Bridgett Antwan Bridgett 5'9" | PG Trenton | 2023 State NJ . Senior Guard Brazil Fields Brazil Fields 6'1" | SG Trenton Central | 2023 State NJ and Forward Chris Wilson are both looking to have a breakout year showing improvements from last year in Summer League games at Moody Park. Trenton is definitely a team to watch this year after last years late-season run who knows what could happen this year.
Nottingham:
Last year the Northstars were a very young team featuring only 2 seniors on the roster This winter they will be coming into the season with much more experience. Senior Guard JP Dickerson along with Junior Guards Jordan Raba and Donte Alexander Donte Alexander 6'1" | CG Nottingham | 2024 State NJ make up a solid scoring attack for the stars. Raba and Alexander are both knock-down shooters from the three and Dickerson is a slasher that can finish at the rim through contact I think Nottingham will be a tough team to beat this year.
Ewing:
The Blue Devils are a team that is dangerous because they can score in the half court, in transition, from the 3, and they play defense. After going 14-9 last season and making it to the Central Jersey Group 4 Semifinal and losing I think these guys have something to prove. The Senior trio of Guards Darnelle Forrest, Naire Preston, and Kenneth Rankin will be big for the blue devils this year. These guys can score from anywhere on the court and they also force opposing offenses into turnovers which opens up the game for teammates to get easy buckets in transition.
Hamilton West:
The Hornets graduated multiple seniors from last years team but they will seem like they haven’t missed a beat come December. Junior Guard Mekhi Lott can really fill it up from the three, knocking down 32 treys last season as well as defending on a high level. The pair of 6’4 Forwards Tyler Barber and Ben Boufford will be big for the Hornets on the Boards and on defense with their length they both also have the ability to hit shots from beyond the arc. Also West has two transfers looking to come in and make an immediate impact for the Hornets.
