There will be plenty of coverage coming over the next several of days, but we wanted to get out some content for those following along as the event takes place. Earlier on Saturday we highlighted some top performers from the first four rounds of games. Now, let’s take a look at the evening session.
Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN (Kokomo H.S. 2024): What can you say at this point about Bidunga that hasn’t already been said? The 6’10” big man was a dominant force on Saturday night despite falling to Cathedral 72-66. He finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds while dunking seemingly everything inside. He is one of the very best prospects in the entire country.
Ahmere Carson Ahmere Carson 6'2" | PG Anderson | 2023 State IN (Anderson H.S. 2023): When you put up 35 points and 51 points in back-to-back games it’ll get you on any sort of top performers list. That is what this 6’2″ left-handed guard did on Saturday afternoon and evening. Carson has proven himself to be one of the best pure scorers in the state of Indiana.
Jake Davis Jake Davis 6'6" | SF Cathedral | 2023 State IN (Cathedral H.S. 2023): Davis got hot in the fourth quarter of Cathedral’s win over Fishers. He actually led the Irish in scoring in both games on Saturday with 14 points against Fishers and then 21 against Kokomo. He showcased improvements off of the dribble in the evening game that really got the attention of some low-Division I programs.
Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN (Fishers H.S. 2025): Making a repeat appearance from the A.M. Standouts feature, Haralson scored 27 points in a close loss to Cathedral in the afternoon. His two-way ability was on full display throughout the day as he really locked up the ball defensively. Such a fun young prospect to watch.
Andrew Hedrick Andrew Hedrick 6'0" | PG Columbia City | 2023 State IN (Columbia City H.S. 2023): Hedrick scored 32 and 30 points respectively as Columbia City picked up wins over Decatur Central and Bloomfield on Saturday evening. The 6’2′ guard is a great athlete, really explosive at the end of his drives to finish, and has a smooth pull-up jumper. One of the better under-the-radar prospects in the state.
Ian Stephens Ian Stephens 6'5" | PF New Palestine | 2023 State IN (New Palestine H.S. 2023): This 6’5″ forward put his versatile skill set on full display on Saturday. After scoring 30 points earlier in the day, Stephens followed it up with 25 points in a win over Warsaw. The left-hander is very mobile, bouncy around the basket, finishes very well at the rim, and has expanded his game to make some three-point shots as well.
