He handled different types of pressure, scored the ball at a high clip and stayed aggressive which allowed him to get to the free throw line consistently.
Garner Road 2026 Kobe Edwards: Certain players seem to play better when the intensity is at a high level and Kobe is one of those players. He plays the game with a confidence that you have to love, showed his ability to break down defenders to get where he wanted on the court, and scored the ball from multiple levels with a high amount of efficiency.
Garner Road 2026 Guard Winston Waite Winston Waite 6'0" | CG Northwood Temple Academy | 2026 State NC : He found his scoring rhythm early on in the event, knocking down plenty of shots from the perimeter in their first game of the day. He doesn’t need much time to get his shot off and once he gets into a nice scoring rhythm, he’s a hard player to contain.
Warriors Life Elite 2026 Guard Chaise Smith Chaise Smith 6'2" | PG Washington | 2026 State NC : A special talent that is just scratching the surface of what he can potentially be, he is one to keep a close eye on. He plays the game with toughness, is a gifted ballhandler and scorer but also brings that effort on the defensive end of the court, applying constant pressure on whoever is defending.
Garner Road 2027 Forward Jack Townsend: Already developing some skills as a post player, he stands at close to 6’2 with plenty of years ahead of him to grow even more. He dominated the boards in a good amount of their matchups and looked comfortable playing in the post offensively.
Final Notes
Acts Elite 2023 Forward Marcus Galbreath: A player that college coaches should be keeping a close eye on over the next year, we saw flashes of what he can be throughout. Rebounding and blocking a high number of shots were two areas of the game where he made a nice impact. The next step for him will be to consistently play with a high motor but he’s definitely a player for D2 and D1 programs to keep an eye on.
Vizion Black 2024 G/F Reese Hagy: As the event went on, his production increased which helped his team finish the event on a three-game winning streak. In their final two games of the event, he averaged 19 points after beginning the tournament with just an average of 12 Points per game. He understands how to use his size to score the ball over smaller opponents and has a chance to be a very good defender when he’s locked in.
