Terrin Brown 6’3 SG/SF (2023)–Highland Home
Brown is a solid wing that has positional fluidity on both ends. Offensively, Brown is a versatile wing with the size and strength to get to the paint, power through contact, and take advantage of mismatches against smaller players. However, he has enough handles to help run an offense and get others involved. He can drive and kick, initiate the offense, and make plays for others at a high level. Defensively he’s going to give effort and can guard multiple positions effectively enough to defend cross matches and switches.
Terry Coner Jr. (2023)–Pinson Valley
Coner Jr is one of the smoother combo guards the state offers. Shows an ability to create off the bounce on all three levels with crafty handles, creative finishes, and elite change of speed setups. With smooth spins, behind-the-back dribbles, and killer crossovers, Corner can break down defenders at an elite level. Coner is also a guard who can play alongside other ball-dominant players due to his ability to shoot off the catch. He does a great job of letting the ball find him within the offense when he’s not the primary option on a given play. Though he’s a score-first guard, Corner shows excellent potential as a playmaker. He uses his handles well to break down defenses and kick it out to shooters or find cutters with accurate anticipatory passes.
Thomas Dowd Thomas Dowd 6'7" | SF Dothan | 2023 State AL 6’9 PF/C 2023 Dothan
Dowd is a top-tier stretch four with elite size and shooting. While being all of 6’9, Dowd is unique in his ability to create opportunities for himself off-ball. In addition, he’s exceptionally comfortable running off screens and pin-downs, which puts opposing bigs in unfamiliar positions. On top of his accuracy from deep, Dowd can attack closeouts and get to his mid-range game, where he has excellent touch. In addition to his shooting, he uses his length well when attacking the paint and finishing at the rack. In addition to his offensive contributions, Dowd is a plus defender that uses his length the bother shooters and be a solid rim protector,
Trent Thomas 6’6 SF/PF 2023 Cottage Hill
Thomas is a highly skilled wing that can move well for size. With a 220-pound frame, Thomas moves with agility and swiftness in both transitions and the half-court. He shows a diverse skill set on the offensive end that enables him to be a No.1 option on a state championship contender. He can spot up shoot and find space as an off-ball shooter, Dominate in the post with his size and strength, and be a primary playmaker with his elite passing ability. Though he can score, Thomas is a dynamic passer for his position. He can get others involved with no-look dimes, behind-the-back passes, cross-court lasers, and touch passes while dissecting the defense at every opportunity.

Tucker Cagle 6’3 SF/PF(2023)–Cullman
Cagle is a defensive-minded playmaker who has a nose for the ball. As a defender, he’s always at the right place at the right time and seems to generate turnovers and blocks at an extremely high rate. Cagle shows great timing, anticipation, and determination when clogging pass lanes, harassing ball handlers, and helping as a secondary rim protector. He also contributes as a rebounder and makes all the hustle plays needed for his team to get extra possessions. Offensively Cagle is going to contribute effort buckets. Filling the lane, offensive rebounds, and timely cuts are all things Cagle excels in.
