The 2025 Palmetto State Rankings have been published earlier this week right here at Prep Hoops. Who are some players that can knockdown shots on the perimeter when needed? Let's talk about some right here in this article.

[player_tooltip player_id="1336825" first="Shane" last="Potts"] - [program_tooltip program_id='2078749' first='TMP' last=''] 16U - Goose Creek HS (pictured on front)

Potts is playing up an age bracket on the Grassroots Circuit. Shane averaged 11 ppg this past season at the Class 5A level for the Gators (16-9). He has a nice mid-range pull-up game to go with his long distance dialing up. Potts really looks to be a good building block down the road the Gators basketball program and Head Coach Blake Hall.

[player_tooltip player_id="1341455" first="Abijah" last="Franklin"] - [program_tooltip program_id='2078752' first='Upward' last='Stars'] Southeast 2025 - Greenville HS

Franklin played some good minutes last season for the Red Raiders. Abijah has a quick shot release to let fly from downtown. He does a good job of staying active away from the ball and working to get his shot off.

[player_tooltip player_id="1183946" first="Jack" last="Green"] - Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach

Jack is the younger brother of the Saints All-Time leading Scorer Mike Green. Mike Green most recently left University of South Carolina and will now play at the Citadel next year. Jack is a left-handed guard with a lot of confidence on the floor. He moves really well around the floor and always stays active. Jack can knockdown shots at a high rate with very good shot selection.

Prep Hoops has not scene Green on the Grassroots Circuit yet this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id="1341454" first="Halen" last="Moss"] - Richland County Rebels - Dreher HS (Columbia)

Moss has had a really good spring running with the Midlands based Grassroots program. Halen has a good shooting stroke and mechanics on his shot when he has his feet set. He really looks to play the game aggressively and does a good job of getting open for looks on the perimeter.
