Josiah Sanders Josiah Sanders 6'4" | PG Colorado Prep | 2025 State #310 Nation CO is a guard who has a better build than many high school players as a young guy standing at a bulky 6’2. While Josiah has a very good build he also has an on-court IQ higher than a lot of guards his age, with the ball in his hands he forces the defense to play at his pace. He is at his best when getting to the basket as he uses his large frame to stay composed while forcing defenders out of position, when at the basket he uses a variety of finishes. A simple way to describe Josiah’s game is smooth, he will be a player to look out for to have a big season at Cherokee Trail.

James Murray IV James Murray IV 6'6" | CG Denver East | 2025 State CO is a big guard who is a great athlete with a very high ceiling. James has a wiry frame and standing at 6’6 makes him a unique guard and a hard match-up for opposing teams to prepare for. For his height, James has a quick first step off of the rip but has shown the most promise as a scorer off of the dribble where he has a good handle on the ball and some shifty crossovers. When pushing the pace on the fastbreak James looks great as he can create his own using his length to finish at the rim or uses good vision to find rim-running teammates.

Anthony Nettles Anthony Nettles 5'10" | PG Douglas County | 2025 State CO is a player who stands out with his pure hustle on the court. On the defensive end of the floor, Anthony is super scrappy and uses his smaller size to get underneath taller opponents and bother them as they handle the ball. When defending on the ball, he has very good instincts and quick hands which allow him to pick players’ pockets. On the offensive end, he is super quick and one of the harder guards in this class to stay in front of. Anthony does a good job getting to the rim and has shown potential to be a very good mid-range scorer. Anthony was a vital part of Douglas County’s team last year and had some solid minutes throughout their deep playoff run.

Lorenzo Contreras Lorenzo Contreras 5'9" | PG Smoky Hill | 2025 State CO is a player who is just good at basketball. Lorenzo has shown the ability to fill multiple roles on the court, whether that’s being an off-ball guard or a focal point of an offense running the point. Both off of the catch and off of the dribble he is a good shooter who defenses must keep track of and can shoot from the mid-range or three-point land. Lorenzo is also a good passer who with the ball in his hands can set up teammates and as an off-ball guard tends to make the right pass.

Bryce Riehl Bryce Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2025 State CO is one of the best shooters pure shooters in this class. Bryce is a player who understands his role as a shooter as he is very good at moving off of the ball and is a player who coaches right up plays for as he is great at coming off of screens. During catch and shoot situations he does a very good job of catching the ball high and getting it right into his shooting pocket, he shoots with quick, consistent form on very good efficiency. Bryce is not just a shooter, on the defensive end he brings good effort and can catch defenses slacking by jumping passing lanes to create breaks for his team.
