– Fruita Monument
is an elite athlete at 6’5 who has been seen throwing down many dunks on the varsity level as a freshman. Daniel has had great showings in the track and field season as a high jumper which translates onto the court. On the defensive end of the floor, Daniel has shown good shot-blocking instincts, using his long arms and high vertical jump to swat shots away. He also has shown some ability to guard on the perimeter using good lateral quickness to grab a steal a game. Daniel is a high-upisde defender and rim runner to keep an eye on.
– DSST: Green Valley Ranch
is a lengthy 6’5 forward who plays taller than his size by playing with high effort and using his long arms to his advantage. Tong is a player who is a bit of a tweener at the moment as he plays a bit inside and out. On the defensive end of the floor, this summer Tong has improved his rim-protecting skills but also is a player who can guard wings out on the perimeter.
– Denver South
is a big man who has a very good build for a player his age. Standing at 6’6 Miles has good height for a big and a sturdy frame which allows him to be a brick wall down low. Miles does a good job when defending on-ball showing his lengthy throwing up his hands while staying in front of opponents.
– Fossil Ridge
is a 6’5 power forward who has shown the ability to put the ball in the bucket in a variety of ways. From the post, Donovan has a nice turnaround jumper which he can make contested. He has also shown the ability to play from the perimeter with a solid jump shot and a good handle on the ball for a developing forward. This summer he has shown off his ability to finish above the rim throwing down multiple dunks in summer league games. While Donovan is not a super athlete he does a good job playing at his pace and finding weaknesses in the defense he can take advantage of.
