The month of June brings team camps across the state of Oklahoma and it also brings a ranking update. On Monday, we unveiled our first batch of rankings for the 2025 class within the state. Throughout the month of June, we’ll be updating our other prospect rankings with an updated 2024 ranking coming out on June 13th. An updated 2023 ranking will be released on June 27th. And as with every ranking update, we also dive into them and put a spotlight on players throughout and what some of their strengths are that have earned their spot within the ranking. In this post, it’s all about the shooters. We put a spotlight on three prospects that were recently ranked in the 2025 class that are some of the better shooters within the class.
Cal Furnish

Crossings Christian | 2025

OK
– Guard – Crossings Christian
(Ranked #6 Overall)
In my opinion, there are going to be few 2025 prospects as intriguing to watch as Crossings Christian guard Cal Furnish Cal Furnish 5'11" | PG Crossings Christian | 2025 State OK . The first time I checked him out was the TOC in December where he absolutely torched teams. He continued to have an outstanding freshman season and helped lead Crossings to the state tournament. And throughout this offseason, he’s been lights out once again. He’s starting to remind us of former Booker T Washington sharpshooter Trey Phipps. On the first look, Furnish isn’t as physically impressive as some of the others in the class. Don’t make that mistake. Furnish’s game continues to grow every time he steps on the floor. And his ability to get his shot off anywhere makes him so fun to watch.
Tristan Hankins

Moore | 2025
State
OK
– Guard – Moore
(Ranked #11 Overall)
Moore made a run to the 6A state championship and that might have surprised plenty around the state. But what’s scary is the Lions are going to be in the mix for a while. Helping lead them there this past season was freshman guard Tristan Hankins Tristan Hankins 6'2" | SG Moore | 2025 State OK . It was apparent throughout the season that Hankins had the ability to step into the spotlight and perform in a big way. During the season, Hankins would hit some of the biggest shots from beyond the arc that either kept Moore in games or sealed it for them. In my opinion, Hankins is at his best as a shooter and a prototypical “3 & D” type player as he’s not too shabby on defense. But the reason he’s on this breakdown is his ability to shoot the rock. And specifically, he can shoot it when his team absolutely needs it.
Zayden Best

Edmond Santa Fe | 2025
State
OK
– Guard – OKC Storm
(Ranked #23 Overall)
And our final shooter on the latest update is Zayden Best Zayden Best 6'0" | CG Edmond Santa Fe | 2025 State OK from the OKC Storm. Best has been shooting the ball incredibly well this offseason while playing in several Circuit tournaments during the spring. There’s no doubt that the first two prospects have been playing some top notch competition throughout the last few months, we’re simply looking for the best players in Oklahoma, no matter what team or circuit they’re playing on. Best had an outstanding month of May where he torched defenders from beyond the arc. He made knocking down six to seven shots from outside look easy by the end of some of the tournaments. While Best might be an undersized guard, he hasn’t had any problems figuring out a way to get his shot off.
