A long 6-5 wing who uses his length effectively on both ends of the floor, Krumrei is a versatile three-level scorer who can play downhill and get to the rim or knock down perimeter shots off the catch. He rebounds well on both ends of the floor and is a good enough ball-handler and decision-maker to lead the break after pulling down a defensive board.
Dalen Huston Dalen Huston 6'3" | SF Johnston | 2024 State IA (Marshalltown) [53]
A plus-athlete at 6-4, Huston looks to dunk everything when he’s attacking the rim. He has a quick first step and gets by defenders routinely, and when he’s getting downhill, he can put together some highlight-reel plays. He’s a really good rebounder who takes advantage of his explosive leaping to snatch boards out of nowhere.
Ty Pflughaupt Ty Pflughaupt 6'4" | SF North Linn | 2024 State IA (North Linn) [64]
A long 6-4 wing, Pflughaupt was a really good role player for the Lynx in their state championship run and has been fantastic with Iowa Prep in the spring. He’s a versatile scorer who can really shoot it from deep, and he uses his length effectively on the defensive end and on the glass. He’ll have a chance to emerge as a high-level scorer starting as a junior for one of 1A’s best teams.
Keenen Wiley Keenen Wiley 6'6" | SF Charles City | 2024 State IA (Mason City) [68]
Wiley saw limited playing time with the Mohawks as a sophomore but has been impressive playing on the Iowa Barnstormers Black team this spring, particularly with his work and versatility on the defensive end. A 6-5 athletic wing with length, he gets into passing lanes and really moves his feet well on that end of the floor. Offensively, he’s still a work in progress, but he has shown some ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the bucket.
Cooper Webb Cooper Webb 6'7" | SF Iowa City Liberty | 2024 State IA (Liberty) [69]
An intriguing young wing with fantastic size, Webb is listed at 6-6 and he has a wingspan that is probably around 6-8/6-9. He has a smooth stroke from the arc and a quick release off the catch. He has the size to get his shot off whenever he wants, and his Iowa Mavs coaches have been working with him on becoming more assertive. He could be in line for a big junior year.
Nicholas Kennedy Nicholas Kennedy 6'3" | SF Senior | 2024 State IA (Senior) [70]
A 6-3 wing who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor, Kennedy makes winning plays. Nothing that he does is going to blow you away, but he’ll stuff the stat sheet and compete hard on both ends. He can get to the rim for tough finishes, has a solid mid-range game, and is an active defender and rebounder.
Brennan Reid Brennan Reid 6'7" | SF North Scott | 2024 State IA (North Scott) [71]
Reid has put together a solid spring with the Mavericks, showcasing his ability to score from all three levels and use his length to impact the game on the defensive end. Following a number of graduations at North Scott, he should have a chance to become an important piece for the Lancers as a junior.
Jaxen Barton Jaxen Barton 6'5" | SF Southeast Polk | 2024 State IA (Southeast Polk) [76]
A 6-4 combo forward, Barton does his damage inside the arc right now, but there are some things that suggest he could bounce to the perimeter a bit as he continues to progress. He has good size and is a solid athlete who can do a little bit of everything.
Ridik Meton Ridik Meton 6'2" | SF Dowling Catholic | 2024 State IA (Dowling Catholic) [88]
Meton is a strong, powerful athlete at 6-2 on the wing who does a good job absorbing contact and finishing around the bucket with either hand. He rebounds well on both ends of the floor and has a solid mid-range game. He should have a chance to become a major contributor for the Maroons over the next few years.
Diego Garcia Diego Garcia 6'2" | SF Keokuk | 2024 State IA (Keokuk) [93]
Garcia is listed at 6-0 but plays bigger than that, getting downhill and attacking the rim where he can finish effectively with either hand. He has a good mid-range game and is working to extend his range with consistency.
