It’s the month of June and while team camps are happening all over the state, we’re updating our prospect rankings on Prep Hoops Oklahoma. Last week, we unveiled our first batch of 2025 rankings with the Top 25 and this week it’s all about the 2024 class. In case you missed our complete 2024 ranking update, you can check out the Top 50 Right Here! Throughout the week, we’ll be diving into those rankings and breaking down certain prospects throughout the top 50. From some of the elite prospects, to prospects on the rise and much more, stick with Prep Hoops Oklahoma for plenty of 2024 coverage this week. Earlier this week, we looked at some of the elite guards in the state’s 2024 class, including top overall prospect David Castillo David Castillo 6'1" | PG Sunrise Christian Academy (KS) | 2024 #80 Nation KS . You can check out that article RIGHT HERE. In this post, we go further into the 2024 class and look at four guards who are outside of the top ten but they are certainly seeing their stock pointing in the correct direction as we get further into the summer months.
Cedric Dixon

State
#323

OK
– Union
(Ranked #12 Overall)
Union has a trio of 2024 prospects that are all within the top 15 of the recent ranking update. Making up one part of the trio is sharpshooter Cedric Dixon Cedric Dixon 6'3" | SG Grind Prep | 2024 State #323 Nation OK and he comes in at #12 overall and definitely should be considered a guard prospect on the rise after the last few months. Dixon had a relatively quiet sophomore season for the Redhawks during the school year. But he has absolutely exploded during the last few months while playing travel ball and has been one of the best shooters within this 2024 class. We have used this description for Dixon in the past and we’re sticking with it. He’s a microwave shooter. When he gets hot, he gets hot in a hurry and will just explode for several threes in a short amount of time. You definitely have to know where Dixon is at all times. We’re looking forward to seeing how he carries this momentum from the last few months into the rest of summer and into his junior year.
DJ Dill

Caddo | 2024
State
OK
– Caddo
(Ranked #14 Overall)
Look, it’s hard to write the word “underrated” next to a prospect that’s in the top 15 of his class but here we go! Caddo guard DJ Dill DJ Dill 6'2" | CG Caddo | 2024 State OK is one of the more underrated prospects across Oklahoma. He’s already eclipsed 1,000 points for his career and he did that before Caddo made it to the state tournament. He has a legitimate shot to be a 2,000 or even 2,500 point scorer when his career comes to a close. And he’s not just a scorer. He can get his teammates involved and is one of the more athletic guards in this class. He’s a strong ball handler and can slice in between defenses and make it look easy. I’ve watched Dill several times in person over the last six months and it amazes me at some of the lanes that he’ll take to get to the basket. Most guards would bail out of the pressure and give the ball up to a teammate but Dill is confident and finishes at the rim. He’s definitely a prospect to keep an eye on moving forward.
Adonis Holiman – McAlester
(Ranked #19 Overall)
Just like with Dixon, we cannot wait to see what Adonis Holiman looks like during his junior year at McAlester. With older brother Adante now graduated, more of the offense will flow thru Holiman and we’re looking forward to seeing how he responds. The first time I personally got a chance to see Holiman was shortly after I joined Prep Hoops Oklahoma and it was at an event in September. I came away very impressed with not only his play on the court but his confidence and expectations every time out on the floor. Holiman just looked like he belonged and would not back down from any match-up. That certainly makes sense when you consider the family and the competition he must have seen every day with Adante. Holiman is an excellent shooter and we’re looking forward to seeing his playmaking abilities come out this winter with McAlester.
Braeden Clinton

Riverfield Country Day | 2024
State
OK
– Riverfield
(Ranked #22 Overall)
Similar to Caddo’s DJ Dill DJ Dill 6'2" | CG Caddo | 2024 State OK , I first got a chance to see Braeden Clinton Braeden Clinton 6'0" | CG Riverfield Country Day | 2024 State OK when he helped take Riverfield to their first ever state tournament appearance. While he was in OKC, I came away very impressed with Clinton and his overall game. From offense to defense, Clinton was one of the better two-way players that I saw during the first state tournament weekend at the Big House. Clinton has continued his momentum this offseason and we’ve gotten a chance to see him a hand full of times at Prep Hoops Circuit events. Each time we see him, we come away more impressed with him. Size might be a question moving forward for him as a college prospect but he is a very reliable guard that will not hurt you on either side of the ball. And his scoring is continuing to get better and he’s becoming just as dangerous at driving to the basket as he is to shoot it from the outside.
