There were 16 teams in the division so I made four All-16U Tournament teams featuring seven players per team.
Here is the 4th team breakdown of the seven players:
Drew Carlson Drew Carlson 6'1" | SG Olympia | 2024 State WA Olympia/WA (Roots Academy 2024)
A strong guard can play some on or off the ball. He can drive and kick it to a shooter and get downhill and euro his way to the rim. He can shoot it from the perimeter and defended the opposing guards well.
Denali Hatcher PG 5’9 2024 Liberty/WA (Global Academy 2024)
A ball handler with incredible speed actually does track and field and runs the 4×100 and the 440 races. He uses his speed to get passed defenders to the cup. He smartly utilizes the pick and roll game and will pull up off the dribble. He knows how to change speeds and shows a lot of fight despite his stature.
RJ Carr PG 5’8 2024 Bethel/WA (ECBA Harris 2024)
A quick ball handler has serious speed. He can shoot it from the perimeter but is best getting downhill using his jets. He can thread the needle to a teammate and it will be all about his consistency.
Neel Chaudhari Neel Chaudhari 5'11" | CG Jesuit | 2024 State OR Jesuit/OR (Rose City Basketball 2024) (Pictured)
A natural scorer has a good feel for the game. He can make the deep-3 and loves the pull-up off the dribble from mid-range. He is smart defender and closes out to shooters quickly. He led the team in scoring many games.
Adam Santa Maria Adam Santa Maria 5'10" | PG Lincoln | 2024 State OR Lincoln/OR (Rose City Basketball 2024)
Chaudhari partner in crime was Adam. He is one of those guards who knows how to play. He can shoot it off the catch or pull and is always moving without the ball and relocating to get open. He can make some plays but is usually looking to put the ball in the hoop.
Wyatt Murphy PF 6’2 2024 Black Hills/WA (Team Anderson 2024 Elite)
A long and lean four man who plays bigger then his height suggests. He can hit the elbow jumper, play a little with his back to the basket and he will block shots. He needs to fill in over the next two years.
Jaydon Bristol PG 5’8 2024 Timberline/WA (Team Anderson 2024 Elite)
A fast downhill guard can blow by his defenders with speed with the ball and a tight handle. He can make some plays but loves scoring or slashing. He can be a pest on the ball defensively.
