6’2 G Hunter Schenck Hunter Schenck 6'2" | PG Weber | 2024 State UT || Kongo || 2024 ||
Hunter is at it again making some noise outside of the state with his elite shooting paired up with his high motor as he is running the floor and playing at a high level. Hunter will be the guy next season at the high school level and this is great preparation. When he has the ball in his hands he is just dangerous to give too much space to but he is also a player you cannot play too tight without help because he has a quick first step with those blow-byes. Hunter is a stock rising prospect and he keeps getting better.
6’2 PG Zuriel Marquez Zuriel Marquez 6'2" | CG Juan Diego Catholic | 2023 State UT || Utah Hype || 2023 ||
It’s been awhile since Zu has played AAU ball but he looks great. He has a quick crossover and he is a high jumping guard that finds ways to finish at the rim that are elite. Shot keeps getting better but he is a nice prospect that could be a diamond in the rough. When he is playing with freedom which he rarely has the chance to do at the high school level he is at his best. Shifty quick guard that plays both ends of the floor. Zu had a good weekend in Colorado this weekend as he showcased a lot of those hidden skills that are starting to come out post high school ball.
6’9 F Malick Diallo Malick Diallo 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #131 Nation UT || Utah Stars || 2024 ||
Malick has been quietly having a great Spring as he is even playing up a grade on the 17’s and he is holding his own in that UA Rise Circuit. He has a good motor and when he is running the floor it usually leads to good things as he can easily put up big numbers. Stay tuned as he likely to make some more plays next week that can elevate him nationally.
6’0 PG Tayshaun Tramel Tayshaun Tramel 5'9" | PG Murray | 2023 State UT || Kongo || 2023 ||
Tayshaun has really turned the corner as a PG for Kongo this season. Tayshaun is displaying his overall floor general skills with his passing and vision. Really does a good job getting his team into things and he also has wiggle that gets him loose in the lanes. This is obviously great for finishing but he also uses that shiftiness to create for others.
6’1 G Max Russo Max Russo 6'1" | PG Cottonwood | 2023 State UT || Utah Hype || 2023 ||
In limited time last season at Cottonwood Max had a few spotty games where he showed some skill from the outside with some shooting. That is what he is doing over at Utah Hype as he is playing loose and with confidence.
6’7 F Isaac Garrett Isaac Garrett 6'8" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT || Salt Lake Rebels || 2023 ||
Isaac is another steal as he spaces the floor really well and he showed some nice skill to his game as a stretch 4 in Denver this past weekend. Really excited to see him continue to develop, get stronger and have a great senior year at PG. 6’7 athlete that can shoot from the outside will attract a lot of attention.
