Prospects across the Garden State are looking to break out during the summer, including players that are not included in the current rankings. Here are the unranked prospects set to breakout this summer.
Tyler Tejada Tyler Tejada 6'7" | SF Teaneck | 2023 State NJ , 6’7 F Teaneck 2023
Tejada has already had a breakout spring for NJ Shore Shots HGSL and it should continue in the summer. The 6’7 forward has a good faceup game as he can beat his defender off the bounce and finish strong around the basket. Tejada can also step outside and knock down jumpers from behind the arc. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and slides his feet on the defensive end. Tejada’s versatility is something that will help his stock in a big way this summer.
Cyril Martynov Cyril Martynov 6'11" | PF Lawrenceville | 2023 NJ , 6’10 PF Lawrenceville 2023
Martynov will be the interior presence for Team Final this summer, which should help him in a big way. The 6’10 forward uses his combination of size and length to alter shots around the rim. Martynov has a nice touch around the basket and is capable of finishing through contact. He can also put the ball on the floor and hit open jumpers from distance. Martynov is a stretch-four prospect who should have a big summer.
Saif Al-Deen Saleh Saif Al-Deen Saleh 6'8" | C Clifton | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 C Clifton 2024
Al-Deen Saleh has been flying under the radar so far and has the potential for a strong summer with the Hilltoppers. The 6’7 post runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy layups in transition. Al-Deen Saleh has a nice touch around the basket and knows how to get position down low. He is a strong rebounder and shows well in pick and roll defense. Al-Deen Saleh is a hard-working forward prospect who does the little things to help his team win games.
Brandon Russell, 6’4 CG Pennington 2025
Russell is an intriguing prospect to watch for Team Rio University as he can affect the game in multiple ways. The lanky 6’4 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get to the rim and finish. Russell has a nice release on his jumper and shoots the ball with confidence from distance. He is an underrated passer and has the athleticism to defend both guard spots. Russell is a long, athletic guard prospect who should have a strong summer.
Isaiah Fuller Isaiah Fuller 5'11" | PG Roselle | 2023 State NJ , 5’11 PG Roselle 2023
Fuller has the potential to breakout this summer with the All-In Beasts as he gets the chance to showcase his skillset. The 5’11 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he can finish in a variety of ways around the basket and is unafraid of contact. Fuller can also score in the mid-range and knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He rarely makes poor decisions with the ball in his hands and is a solid rebounder. Fuller is a scoring guard prospect who should fill up the box score this summer.
