Tanner Braketa Tanner Braketa 6'1" | PG Ralston Valley | 2025 State #285 Nation CO – B&B Academy
Tanner Braketa Tanner Braketa 6'1" | PG Ralston Valley | 2025 State #285 Nation CO led his team to a 4-0 weekend playing up a grade level. Tanner is an elite shooter who does much more than just spot-up. When moving off of the ball Tanner is one of the best players I have seen at getting open. He runs tight off of screens and is super shifty off of the ball. Tanner gets the ball into his shooting pocket as soon as he catches it and has a lightning-quick release. He is a player you can give no space to making him very hard to guard.
Tevin Riehl Tevin Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2024 State CO – Rising Stars
Tevin Riehl Tevin Riehl 6'0" | CG Mesa Ridge | 2024 State CO was another guard who stood out with his knockdown shooting ability. Tevin has a good frame for a guard that he uses to bully smaller guards. From beyond the three-point arc, he has a knockdown jumper and deep range. Tevin plays at his own pace and is able to create space with smooth stepbacks. All weekend he made big shots for his team closing out games or hitting a shot in close game situations.
James Pulliam James Pulliam 6'7" | PF Doherty | 2024 State CO – Colorado Miners
James Pulliam James Pulliam 6'7" | PF Doherty | 2024 State CO was one of the most impressive big men in 16U. James jumper from three-point land looked very good this weekend, he shoots with consistent form and was someone you cannot leave open from beyond the arc. Near the rim, James showed off his soft touch and patience. For his size, he also has a quick first step allowing him to surprise defenders and get by a layup.
Johnathan Lyons Johnathan Lyons 6'5" | SF Cherry Creek | 2024 State CO – Colorado Collective
Johnathan Lyons Johnathan Lyons 6'5" | SF Cherry Creek | 2024 State CO is a player who was very impressive on both ends of the floor. Defensively he effectively guarded 1-3, uses his long wingspan to bother opposing players, and even had some impressive blocks from the weekend. Johnathan has a smooth jumper and is able to use good footwork to easily get into rhythm. He also showed potential as a slasher who finished well near the rim.
Cohen Edmondson– B&B Academy
Cohen Edmondson was big reason for B&B Academy’s success. Cohen is a good shooter from beyond the arc but also is a good scorer around the rim. Using pump fakes or a quick first step Cohen is able to blow by defenders, at the rim he is a creative finisher who used floaters and reverse layups to score. He also hit some big shots for his team in close game situations.
