Ayden Carter Ayden Carter 6'4" | SG Fremont Ross | 2023 State OH , 6’3 SG Fremont Ross 2023: Carter is a bigger sized wing creator who has great athleticism and feel for the game. Carter can do a lot with the ball in his hands and has been very productive on the varsity level and 17 U level since the start of his junior season. If Carter can develop a more reliable jumper, he will become even tougher to stop in the half-court. Division II programs should be all over Carter this spring and summer.
Will Aljancic Will Aljancic 6'6" | SF Louisville | 2023 State OH , 6’6 SF Louisville 2023: Aljancic is a sweet shooting wing forward with size who has some upside playing with an All Ohio Select squad that’s had a lot of success this spring. Aljancic is showing that he can produce against top competition after a dominant high school season for Louisville. Aljancic is another prospect that Division II and NAIA prospects should be strongly considering to add shooting from the wing forward position.
Connor Stonebraker Connor Stonebraker 6'7" | PF Versailles | 2023 State OH , 6’7 PF Versailles 2023: Stonebraker was MAC player of the year, a league mostly known for his football dominance. Stonebraker has a good frame at 6’7 and should continue to fill out with his shoulders and upper body. Stonebraker is a skilled post presence who has played well next to Austin Parks Austin Parks 6'9" | C St. Mary's Memorial | 2023 State #166 Nation OH for the Ohio Buckets. Stonebraker has also shown some outside shooting ability, right now a guy you can’t leave wide open from distance. I’d expect Stonebraker to have some Division II offers before the summer is over.
Chandler Starks Chandler Starks 6'6" | C Anderson | 2023 State OH , 6’6 C Anderson 2023: Starks moves back to Ohio after spending his first three high school seasons at Kentucky powerhouse Covington Catholic. Starks is a smart big prospect who can pass the ball and uses his wide frame to rebound and set hard screens. I’ll be interested to see what type of scoring numbers Starks can put up for Anderson as he’s been a complimentary piece at the high school and grassroots level.
Cayden Jacoby Cayden Jacoby 6'9" | C Pettisville | 2023 State OH , 6’8 C Pettisville 2023: Jacoby impressed on the Adidas Gold circuit in April and finds himself as the 13th ranked center in Ohio. Jacoby is a mobile big who has the athleticism to block shots on one end and throw down a dunk on the other. Jacoby is adjusting to playing against prospects his size on the Adidas gold circuit, after towering over defenders for Pettisville during the winter. This tougher competition has forced Jacoby to be tougher and find more ways to impact the game without scoring. Expect scholarship programs to take an interest in Jacoby as a long-term swing.
