Carson Miles Carson Miles 6'0" | PG Georgetown | 2023 State OH , 5’11 PG Georgetown 2023 Ohio Primetime: Miles is a small school standout in a part of the state that doesn’t get a ton of media attention. This is why I was so excited to catch Miles at this event, because he’s somebody that I can let college coaches know about. Miles is a good shooter with the ability to break defenses down off the bounce. Scoring 25 points in the one full game I caught, I saw Miles show off his scoring talent. I expect small local colleges to be interested in Miles once they get the opportunity to watch him.
Jujuan Ray Jujuan Ray 6'6" | SF Westerville South | 2023 State OH , 6’4 SF Westerville South 2023 Nova Village Taylor: Ray is a prospect I’ve seen glimpses during the high school season but never got the chance to really show off his talents. This weekend I saw more shot-making and creation skill from Ray. With Westerville South graduating a lot of core pieces, Ray could be a breakout star this winter.
Sam Reynolds Sam Reynolds 6'2" | SG Sidney | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG Sidney 2023 Ohio Stars: Reynolds had a big game attacking the basket in a close win for the Ohio Stars. The Stars are mostly filled with Dayton area talent and Reynolds shined above the rest with his ability to finish off two feet, including some nice spin moves to get to the bucket. Reynolds was third in the Miami Valley League in scoring as a Junior and could have a chance to lead the conference as a senior.
Maxim Butler Maxim Butler 5'11" | PG Springboro | 2024 OH , 5’11 PG Springboro 2024 Dayton Elite 16 U: Butler is a sharpshooter who made shots from downtown early and often on Sunday. Butler plays on a Dayton Elite squad that moves the ball well and had another impressive weekend, going 3-1 at the event. Butler is one of many prospects who stood out on a squad that was unselfish and had scoring from a variety of players.
Cameron Brown Cameron Brown 6'3" | SF Solon | 2024 State OH , 6’4 SF Solon 2024 OBC 16 U: Brown is probably the highest upside prospect featured in this article as the 6’4 wing can shoot it and has some impressive athleticism as shown by a dunk that caught my eye yesterday. Brown is a spot-up shooter who I think could really use his athleticism to score more once he improves his handle. Brown is a prospect who could break out for a Solon squad that graduated some key pieces but also brings back Rayquan Thompson Rayquan Thompson 6'0" | PG Solon | 2023 State OH and others.
