Aidan Pratt Aidan Pratt 6'5" | PF Van Wert | 2023 State OH , 6’5 PF Van Wert 2023: Pratt is a two-sport stud at Van Wert, right on the Indiana border. It’ll be interesting to track his recruitment because like so many other small school prospects in that part of the state, Pratt will have college options for football and basketball at the next level. Pratt’s athleticism is his best trait, an explosive leaper off the ground and physical force in the paint. Pratt understands playing within a system, playing for a pass first NW Ohio squad.
Theo Maag Theo Maag 6'6" | C Ottawa-Glandorf | 2023 State OH , 6’6 C Ottawa Glandorf 2023: Maag is a teammate of Pratt’s on the grassroots circuit and the pair typically sub out for each other as the main guy in the paint. Maag won’t blow you away with post moves, but he plays with a good motor and rebounds well. I project Maag as a solid option for local Division III programs looking to add some size. Maag also comes from a great program at Ottawa Glandorf and should be ready to take college coaching.
Antwaun Hathcock Antwaun Hathcock 6'6" | PF Ponitz | 2023 State OH , 6’5 PF Dayton Ponitz 2023: Hathcock impressed with Hopson Elite with his defensive ability and athleticism around the basket. Hathcock was one of the best interior defenders in the Dayton City League as his dominance around the basket is easy to see. Hathcock is a solid athlete and rebounds well in the paint. I’ll be interested to see Hathcock play again and see if there’s more offensive upside than what I originally saw in my first time watching him.
