Devin Brown Devin Brown 6'7" | PF Milwaukee Academy Of Science | 2025 State #196 Nation WI – 2025 – F – Power 5
Big sleeper in the 2025 class right now. Brown had two double figure efforts to help Power 5 advance to the 15U quarterfinals. The 6-foot-6 forward is a junkyard dog with a very high motor. A plus-length, strong, and athletic prospect Brown can live on scraps by just busting his butt up and down the floor, attacking the offensive glass, and finishing around the rim off dribble-drives. Brown can post up a little bit too if given the opportunity. The Milwaukee Academy of Science freshman was just a momentum changer all day with his highlight plays above the rim.
Antwan Burns-Jones Antwan Burns-Jones 6'2" | SG Catholic Memorial | 2023 State WI – 2023 – SG – MTXE Premier
MTXE didn’t shoot the ball well in Saturday morning’s loss to Nova Village, but Burns-Jones was a bright spot. The 6-foot-3 guard got into high percentage areas and was able to make things happen with the pass. Dishing out five assists, Burns-Jones was able to force defenders out of their spots and then beat the rotations. Offensively, Burns-Jones also has some sneaky athleticism. His feet move very quick in traffic and he’s able to maneuver around multiple defenders en route to the rim. Burns can shoot it a bit from the outside, but makes his living as a slasher. He’s got tight handles, plays low to the ground, and can explode right off the catch.
Stevie Clark Stevie Clark 6'6" | SF Oshkosh North | 2024 State #322 Nation WI – 2023 – SF – Wisconsin Playground Club
Clark was just relentless in a win over Wildcat Select Saturday night. The Oshkosh North product exploded for 29 points. In a game that featured a ton of fouls, Clark elevated the physicality and set the tone. Whether it was hitting the offensive glass, running the floor in transition, catching near the rim and finishing, or getting to the foul line, Clark did a ton of damage around the rim in a chippy ball game. Not many wings, if any, in Wisconsin’s 2024 class that play harder. While Clark can be a versatile, three-level scorer, he’s never solely relied on his skill to produce. You can always count on him for those gritty, “garbage” buckets that he’ll generate simply off his motor.
Jake Hansen Jake Hansen 6'1" | SG Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #331 Nation WI – 2025 – SG – Wisconsin Playground Club
Hansen had 16 points in a win over TNBA Saturday afternoon. The Tosa West sharpshooter connected on four 3-pointers, including three in the first half alone. Hansen feeds off dribble penetration at a high level. He knows how to move as the basketball does, not staying in one place, and reacting when his defender has to provide help in the gaps. While he’s going to make his hay from the 3-point line as a catch and shoot threat, Hansen looks a little quicker and more athletic on the ball this spring. He’s tightened that handle up and is gaining confidence to be able to put it on the deck in traffic and create some stuff off the bounce, particularly in the mid-range.
Sean Hansen Sean Hansen 5'11" | PG Appleton North | 2025 WI – 2025 – PG – Wisconsin Playground Club
Kid just plays his tail off and loves the game. In two outings, saw Hansen create a ton of havoc defensively. The Appleton North product just gets after it with his on-ball defense and harasses people up the floor. Hansen was able to generate numerous easy transition buckets for his team by getting his man to cough up the basketball. Also a skilled point guard, Hansen has break-you-down ability on the ball. He’s a gifted passer in the paint that can find his man without making direct eye contact. Hansen has good handles, plays low to the ground, and some suddenness about him when he looks to attack. It’s early, but think Hansen is a top 15 player in the 2025 class right now.
Brogan McIntyre Brogan McIntyre 6'5" | SF Milton | 2023 State WI – 2023 – SF – Wisconsin Playground Club
McIntyre had 16 points in a Saturday afternoon loss. PGC was already running on fumes due to injuries and finished the game with three available players. McIntyre did what he could, hitting some 3’s, slashing to the bucket, and getting some cheap buckets with timely cuts at the rim. Always liked McIntyre’s value as a college prospect. Think he’s a quality 3-and-D guy who can space the floor, make athletic plays, and defend various positions at the floor. Think he’s very effective catching in the 12-18 foot range, especially when he rips baseline. Also adding to his value at the next level, McItyre has good size at 6-foot-4 and is a bouncy, above-the-rim athlete.
Kai Rogers Kai Rogers 6'10" | C Wauwatosa West | 2025 State #41 Nation WI – 2025 – C – Wisconsin Playground Club
Leaning towards Rogers as the No. 1 player in Wisconsin’s early class of 2025 rankings. He was dominant offensively in a close loss to All-Ohio Red. Rogers went for 19 points in that high level matchup. A massive 6-foot-10 center, Rogers has clearly worked hard on his body, athleticism, and mobility. He’ll still need to improve his lateral quickness defensively, but Rogers can absolutely move. The Wauwatosa West product shows some improved skill on the block, able to keep his pivot foot and go reverse at times. If he gets a catch a foot or two away from the rim, it’s over as Rogers is going to dunk that thing home. Also an outstanding shot blocker and rim protector, Rogers can dominate a game in the paint.
Davion Hannah Davion Hannah 6'5" | SF Nicolet | 2025 State #33 Nation WI – 2025 – SF – Power 5
This kid has the goods. When all is said and done, don’t sleep on Hannah being the top player in the class of 2025, which is very loaded. This 6-foot-6 wing has a sweet isolation game and could be a big matchup problem down the road. Hannah can handle the ball, shoot it from all areas of the floor, and really gets after the offensive glass. There’s some budding all-around ability that makes Hannah a triple-double threat. He’ll even play some point guard at times and initiate the offense. Far from a one-trick pony, Hannah makes a lot of impact plays defensively and racks up blocks, steals, and deflections at a high rate.
Devin Royal Devin Royal 6'6" | PF Pickerington Central | 2023 State #49 Nation OH – 2023 – SF – All-Ohio Red
Good versatility and all-around ability here. Royal impacts the game in different ways and is almost positionless on the floor. The 6-foot-6 wing can handle the ball in transition, initiate the offense in the half court, slash to the bucket, space the floor as a shooter, and distribute the basketball. Really like Royal in the open floor. He likes to get out and run and make decisions on the go. Strikes me as a Malik Hall type — plug n’ play wing that allows you to mix and match your lineups and does a little bit of everything. Royal has a real nice motor to him as well. He’ll get involved on the offensive glass, as a shot blocker, and try and create turnovers defensively.
Luther Smith Luther Smith 6'1" | SG Sussex Hamilton | 2023 State WI – 2023 – SG – MTXE Premier
Smith went for 20 points in a Saturday afternoon win in bracket play. The Sussex Hamilton star always seems to catch teams that don’t know him off guard. You look at his body type and think Smith is a break-you-down guard who’s going to try and attack the rim and then Smith starts hitting them with long-range shooting ability. A deadly sniper, Smith will make defenders pay for putting a hand down. He’ll also mix in the mid-range pull-up and is a better finisher at the rim than he probably gets credit for. The 6-foot-1 guard also has a unique fall away game in the high post. A ton of mid-major interest has been pouring in this spring for Smith, who owns a D1 offer from Lousiana-Monroe.
