The Hoop Group Southern Jamfest features some of the top shoe company and independent teams in the country, and is loaded with talent throughout the field.
Here’s a look at part two of some of the standouts in the 15U division.
Jackson Keith | 6’5” WF | Team Loaded VA 2025
Keith is one of a number of Loaded players from NC on this Loaded VA team, and he was fantastic when I watched them in their win over Boo Williams 15U. He has good positional size already and has a great motor he used on the defensive end and on the glass, he showed the ability to catch and shoot from deep and he attacked the basket hard off the bounce and off the ball on cuts. He led the way with 21 points, scoring 17 of them in the second half.
Colt Langdon | 6’5” WF | Team Loaded VA 2025
Langdon is probably the most polished player on this young Team Loaded group, as he is a big time shot maker with good length and a good feel for the game. He can make tough shots both from the midrange and from deep, he’s able to create space and knock down shots going either direction and he knows how to use screens and makes good reads coming off them to get open for shots. He was the one who was hot early, scoring 10 of his 13 points in the first half.
Cam Pacheco | 6’0” PG | Team Loaded VA 2025
Pacheco is the younger brother of Carmelo Pacheco Carmelo Pacheco 6'4" | SG Spotswood | 2022 State VA who was one of the best players in Harrisonburg the last few years and will head to FUMA for a post grad year, and while he isn’t as tall as his brother he has plenty of game and is more of a guard than his other two were. He shot the ball well taking good shots and making them consistently, he showed good change of pace and decision making off the bounce and he understands his role and plays to his strengths. He has a very good feel and IQ and knows how to make an impact whether it shows up on the stat sheet or not.
Kareem Stagg | 6’7” PF | Boo Williams 2025
While Boo may have lost in their matchup with Loaded VA, Stagg may be the most intriguing prospect on the floor as he’s grown a couple of inches since we saw him in the high school season and he has a grown man type of game. He’s big and strong and intimidating in the paint as he can use his body to create space, he’s an elite shot blocker with great timing and he alters tons of shots in the paint and he can catch and finish above the rim. He has good touch out to the midrange area and as he continues to improve his range and perimeter game he’ll be a force to reckon with moving forward.
Aiden Smalls | 5’11” PG | Team Loaded VA 2026
Smalls is an eighth grader that plays up on this Loaded team, and don’t get it twisted he’s one of the best guards you’ll see in his age group. He thrives when he can get downhill and gets a full head of steam to get in the paint at will and finish around the basket, he can make plays for others off the bounce and he can score the ball from multiple levels. He finished with 12 points, looking like possibly the best guard out there when I watched.
