We’ve already highlight some of the top performers, but now we will turn to some of the more under-the-radar type of prospects. These are players that have jumped onto our radar, and hopefully the radar of fans and coaches alike statewide. Here are seven “new names” that had a great tournament at the G3 Invitational.
Caden Collins Caden Collins 6'2" | SG Danville | 2024 State IN (Danville H.S. 2024/Indiana Ice 2024): Smooth, athletic 6’2″ guard with a fundamentally sound game. Collins got off to a hot start in the game I watched, a win over D1 Indiana 2025-Gizzi on Saturday, getting the basket off of the bounce and making some tough pull-up pumpers. Gets good elevation on his shot. Sneaky athletic. Good looking offensive prospect.
Eli Crockett (Franklin Central H.S. 2023/Circle City Shooters 2023): Impressive playmaker that helped to lead the Circle City Shooters to a spot in the G3 Invitational Final Four. Crockett is a long, thin 6’1″ guard with good court vision, a smooth outside stroke, and a quick enough burst to create for himself off of the dribble as well.
Robert Davidson Robert Davidson 6'4" | SF Bishop Chatard | 2023 State IN (Bishop Chatard 2023/JH1 IndyElite 2023): Excellent 6’4″ athlete that played a big role in leading JH1 IndyElite to the G3 Invitational championship. Davidson is very good running the floor in transition, attacks closeouts in the half court, and has the physical tools to be a versatile defender. Intriguing prospect that continues to really improve.
Deon Dickerson (Indianapolis Tindley 2024/Kyle Guy Elite Black 2024): Dickerson is a 6’4″ forward that likes to play out on the perimeter. He has a strong build to hold his own in the paint, but has a smooth left-handed stroke from beyond the arc. I like his ability to stretch the floor. Showed flashes of being able to attack a closeout as well, especially going to his left.
Brady McNabb Brady McNabb 5'9" | PG Muncie Central | 2024 IN (Muncie Central H.S. 2024/All Area Basketball Gold 2024): Small, but athletic guard that plays with great pace. McNabb changes direction quickly with the ball when attacking the basket, elevates well on his jumper, and is a creative finisher around rim. Skilled offensive talent.
Jaylen Murphy (Anderson H.S. 2023/Indy EBC White 2023): Murphy is a big presence around the basket with improved footwork and a soft touch finishing with his right hand over his left shoulder. Saw him score it inside quite a bit over the weekend and the big man did a good job on the glass as well. 6’7″ post player.
Josh Williams (Connersville H.S. 2023/JH1 IndyElite 2023): Williams is a high IQ wing with a good amount of skill on the perimeter. At 6’2″ with some strength he has the size to finish at the end of his drives and also shoots it really well from beyond the arc. Had a great weekend in a championship performance by JH1 IndyElite.
