Trey’Dez Green Trey’Dez Green 6'8" | PF Zachary | 2024 State #54 Nation LA 2024 6’8 East Feliciana High School, LA (LA Broncos 2024)
Trey’dez is an athletic freak standing at 6’8 with the ability to move like a guard and throw down dunks like a power forward. I was blown away by his agility on the court paired with his bounce and overall basketball IQ. He knows when to attack the defense in the midrange or getting downhill when he has the big man out of position and knows no one who is going to step up against him has a chance to stop him. I was very impressed with his consistency with his back to the basket, and showed very consistent post moves and knows to go quickly to catch the defense off guard. On the defensive side of the ball, Green has all of the tools to effectively defend positions 3-5 at the next level with his ability to move his feet and bump his opponents off their spots down low. He is an intense on ball defender who thrives at using his length to harass ball handlers, even when switching onto them for a short period of time. Green is a prospect that you need to remember the name and be sure to keep tabs on over the next two years!
Jermauri Blake 2024 6’0 Humble High School, TX (North Houston Hustle 2024 National)
Jermauri was at it again using his athleticism and overall feel for the game to stand out above his peers. He is an incredibly aware player who thrives off his ability to turn defense to offense, and run the fast break. He showed off an incredibly high basketball IQ through his ability to play in the passing lanes but also use his active hands to create turnovers. He calmly creates opportunities for his teammates, and can do so with flair to keep the defense off balance. I saw him make two nasty no look passes on the break that set up a teammate for a wide open look. He is always a threat to get to the rim and finish at the cup. He confidently plays through contact and can adjust his shot angle, allowing him to easily finish in the paint, even over bigger competition. Eventually, defense have enough of him dancing around their guard up top and getting to the rim with ease, and forced him to go to the free throw line where he always seemed to be when I looked over at their court. Blake is a prospect you need to keep your eye on!
Charley Reado 2024 6’0 Elkins High School, TX (Fresno Flyers Elite 2024)
Reado was at it again showing off the ease in which he creates opportunities for himself. He is a smooth and crafty player who knows how to attack the rim and get into the paint. When he gets two feet in the paint, good things happen for his team. He can fire out passes to his shooters on the back side, or make the right dump off pass to his big down low. I was very impressed with the ease in which he scored from all three levels of the court, especially off the dribble. He stepped into three pointers off the catch and knocked them down at a very high clip. I was most impressed with his natural point guard instincts, he knows to not over dribble and knows just the right time to make the pass. It seems he always catches the defense on its heels every time he releases a pass.
Jamir Major 2024 6’2 Manvel High School, TX (Next Level Elite 2024)
Jamir is a ferocious player as he works to get downhill and really thrives off his ability to create separation in both the half court and the full court. In the open floor, he uses his end to end speed with a live dribble to beat his opponents down the court. He has a lightning quick crossover which allows him to create space within the half court and rise above his defender from any of the three levels of the floor. He is a confident shooter off the bounce who always seems to take what the defense gives him, and willingly lives in the midrange. I was very impressed with his ability to finish at the rim, and change his shot angle when necessary to avoid defenders. He is not just a scorer at the guard position however, he is a smart playmaker who always finds the open man on the fast break. On the defensive end of the floor, he is an aware player who often comes up with steals with his active hands and intense on ball defense. He is great at using his speed to his advantage after forcing a turnover and blowing past his opponent as he goes coast to coast.
Elijah Hernandez 2024 6’1 Harlen High School, TX (Nike ProSkills SA 16U Black)
Elijah is a true point guard with his incredible feel for the game and the ability in which he passes his teammates open, and uses his ability to get two feet into the paint to create looks for his teammates. I loved watching him routinely attack the defense and get into the paint, and even showed an ability to score over taller defenders in the paint. You can tell he is not down growing with his lanky arms and long limbs, which he uses to harass his opponent on defense. He is a patient player on both ends of the floor, he does not bite on pump fakes or crossovers. He always seems to be one step ahead of his man, which allows him to come up with steals and blocks, and allows his team to run and gun with more effectiveness.
