Jack Dabbs Jack Dabbs 6'5" | SF Stevenson | 2024 State IL (2024) Stevenson (All-In Gold)
Dabbs has plenty of size and played with plenty of energy for All-In in their matchup with Nova Village-Boyd. At 6-foot-5, Dabbs finishes consistently around the rim and had a soft touch over traffic in the paint. Dabbs has a scrawnier build and will need to add some weight to his frame to succeed at the next level. But his drive and work ethic makes me believe he could be a target for some D3s looking for a potential SF/PF.
Alex Daniels (2024) Warren (All-In Gold)
Daniels came off the bench for All-In and was fantastic for the guard heavy team. Daniels plays with little fear and initiates contact easily in dribble drive situations. Patient on the wing and attacked the gaps. Good size for a 2G at 6-foot-4 and can get to the rim. Daniels will need to develop finishing with his Left hand as he can slash going right but also finishes with the Right hand only.
Mantas Zilys (2023) Naperville Central (Young & Reckless)
Zilys had a great showing against a UAA team Saturday. A southpaw by nature, Zilys has sneaky athleticism as he doesn’t jump off the page in the warmup line. Finishes above the rim with authority. Plays very unselfish but makes possessions count when he has the ball in his hands. Utilized the midrange jumper and knocked down the shots with a defender closing in. I like Zilys’ potential to be a D2/LM prospect at the next level.
Miles Rubin Miles Rubin 6'7" | PF Homewood Flossmoor | 2023 State #243 Nation IL (2023) Simeon (Meanstreets)
Rubin was the most impressive prospect I watched for Meanstreets against Mid Ohio Pumas. At 6-foot-8, Rubin has some size and longer arms and legs. Played most of his game on the block and showed good control and patience with the ball in the post. Showed he can finish and make moves with his back to the basket. Utilized his longer arms by getting a hand on some shots defensively.
Cooper Koch Cooper Koch 6'8" | PF Metamora | 2024 State #81 Nation IL (2024) Peoria Notre Dame (Indiana Elite 3SSB)
Koch brings more inside-out flare for Indiana Elite loaded with bigs and size. Koch moved well for a guy 6-foot-8 and with a slimmer build, had some size advantages on the perimeter. Showed consistency scoring the ball from the post and midrange. Controls the basketball and handled well enough on the perimeter to show he could be a wing. Koch has the size to attract college coaches and the accompanying skill will only reinforce this.
