2025 PG Leo Perettie Leo Perettie 5'11" | PG Grosse Pointe North | 2025 State MI was one of my top players when I watched this team in Chicago last month. Perettie getting his teammates involved early for the Goonies against MBA Hoops. He was super explosive down the lane too. I really liked the effort he put in. But the player who stole the show was Joseph DeCasas Joseph DeCasas 6'0" | PG Notre Dame Prep | 2025 State MI . He wasn’t in Chicago last month when I watched this team. But he’s got a great backcourt connection with Leo Perettie Leo Perettie 5'11" | PG Grosse Pointe North | 2025 State MI . What’s stood out the most with him is his ability to find space in transition. If a player was guarding the paint, Decasas would go in the corner so a teammate driving down the lane can find him open for three. Those kinds of buckets happened a couple times. Like Perettie, Decasas displayed some excellent slashing abilities. He scored 19 as the Goonies won 55-41. Perettie had 10.

He was super physical too and played well on the glass. He finished with 25 points despite the loss and was easily the top player out there. In the second game, he scored another 20 points as they cruised to an easy victory.
Ador Mawut’s Big First Half leads B3 Athletics Past 2025 Michigan Goonies
Mawut was balling for B3 athletics early. In the opening minutes, he had two blocks and 7 points. He converted an impressive and-one to fall in transition for his third bucket, and had two more baskets inside. He kept that confidence going later in the first half with a monster jam and a 3-pointer. Mawut also picked up a few steals. Leo Perettie Leo Perettie 5'11" | PG Grosse Pointe North | 2025 State MI also impressed me in this game with some nice feeds. He also had a terrific block and some impressive drives down the lane. Also, Joseph DeCasas Joseph DeCasas 6'0" | PG Notre Dame Prep | 2025 State MI played well with three triples in the 2nd half. But 3-pt shooting for B3 took this game out of reach. At least five players hit 3-pointers in this game. There’s also a tremendous amount of teamwork that led to a big win.
