The Prep Hoops Circuit is winding down with a few more events across the country. Coming up in July, Oklahoma City will host another event and then we’ll close things out in Dallas a few weeks later. June is right around the corner and our next ranking update will take place then. We’ve seen plenty of talented players play on our circuit this offseason and we take a look at some of the prospects who have done incredibly well over the last few months. In this post, we take a look at the 2025 stock risers. Earlier this week, we released the 2023 stock risers, followed by the 2024 stock risers.
Kobe Freeman – Guard – Purcell (Wolfpack)
The first of three guards on this breakdown is Purcell guard Kobe Freeman. While playing with the Wolfpack in several tournaments this offseason, Freeman has been a few things that have really stood out to us and has earned this spot on this list. He’s been a leader, he’s been a scorer and he’s been a playmaker, getting his teammates involved and making them better. Freeman is one of the smaller guards in the class but that really hasn’t limited what he’s been able to do on the court. We like the upside that he has moving forward and he could very well end up being one of the better guards in this class when it’s all said and done. He’s the true definition of a stock riser because it feels like his ceiling as a prospect has gotten higher over the last few months.
Logan Knol – Forward – Edmond North (Oklahoma Flight)
As if defending champion Edmond North needed anymore young talent, forward Logan Knol has been one of the better young forwards that we’ve seen over the last month. While playing for Oklahoma Flight, Knol’s game has been consistent and smooth and he’s definitely been one of the top performers from Oklahoma that we’ve seen in the last few tournaments that he’s played in. Knol’s game is pretty simple at this point as he’s been dominant in the paint. He can finish with either hand, does a great job cleaning up the glass and can score on second chance opportunities or getting the ball on entry passes. We’ve also seen him start to expand his game and step out and shoot the ball a little bit. Edmond North is absolutely loaded with young talent and Knol just gives them more depth.
Triston Driver Triston Driver 6'0" | PG Bixby | 2025 State OK – Guard – Bixby (Tulsa Impact)
It seems like every time we see Bixby guard Triston Driver Triston Driver 6'0" | PG Bixby | 2025 State OK and Tulsa Impact play, he’s not only leading them in scoring, but he’s putting up games where he’s scoring 30+ points and it looks effortless. Driver is definitely a prospect that we’re going to keep an eye on moving forward in this 2025 class. And he also has us excited about the potential this upcoming school season with Bixby as he teams with 2023 star Parker Friedrichsen Parker Friedrichsen 6'4" | SG Bixby | 2023 State #165 Nation OK . As Driver has gotten more confident in his game, he’s going to give Bixby another scoring threat and someone to take opponent’s attention away from Friedrichsen. Like some of the other guards on this breakdown, it’s still very early but Driver’s game has really improved over the last six months and he looks like a legit scoring threat moving forward.
Zayden Best – Guard – OKC Storm (JEB Elite)
In the last few stock riser posts, we’ve written about our amazing network of scouts and writers. I’m just one guy and there’s obviously a limit on how many players and teams I can see in a given tournament. And one player I haven’t had a chance to see in person on the Circuit, but one that has really impressed some of our other writers is guard Zayden Best. While playing with JEB Elite, Best has shown that he’s one of the better shooters in the 2025 class. Like Driver, Best has had some games where he’s made scoring 25-30 points look easy. He’s also had some games where the majority of his scoring has come exclusively from beyond the arc. He’s clearly one of the better shooters in this class and as other parts of his game develop, he’s going to be an interesting prospect to watch.
