Damarion Pouncil Damarion Pouncil 6'7" | PF South Mountain | 2022 CA-S , 2023, Middlebrooks Academy – Pouncil has made some impressive strides since the last time we saw him with most of those coming on the offensive end. The 6-foot-8 post grad-bound senior has great hands and improving low post footwork and uses his length and fluid athleticism to rim run and beat defenses down the floor for high percentage looks.
Justin Bodo, 2023, Southern California Academy – Bodo was one of the better inside scorers in this event. The 6-foot-10 center knows how to establish deep post position and keep defenders on his back to allow a big target for post-entry passes. When he gets touches with his back to the basket, Bodo has good footwork and a soft-touched jump hook to his right hand that is difficult to guard.
Martin Gumwel Martin Gumwel 6'11" | C Rancho Christian | 2023 State CA-S , 2023, Rancho Christian – Gumwel was the most active big man in the camp from the standpoint of running the floor in transition and crashing the offensive and defensive boards. The 6-foot-11 center is such a mobile and athletic prospect that he makes for an elite rim runner, rebounder and rim protector. Gumwel had a number of strong finishes in the painted area and rejected plenty of shots at the rim on the defensive end.
Ryan Enos, 2024, Cathedral Catholic – The 6-foot-8 sophomore was one of the more potent shooters in the event. Enos is a stretch-four type of prospect due to his preference to spot up and hit face-up three’s or knock down perimeter shots out of pick and pop situations. Enos still has plenty of work to do on his overall game, but his shooting touch from multiple spots and ranges of the floor is a good start to his development.
Steven Solano Steven Solano 6'11" | C Christ the King | 2024 IN , 2024, Donda Academy – Solano is a 6-foot-11 sophomore whose game projects him to a traditional big man role at the next level. Solano has a big body and strong base that he uses to gain post position for deep post touches. His ability to score with either hand around the basket, combined with his upper body strength and footwork, makes him difficult to handle inside.
