Here we’ll take a look at the top jump shooters from the Oklahoma State Tournament.
Carl Walker | Shooting Guard | Next Page Force 2025
6-foot silent assassin, Carl Walker proved to be one of the purest and most reliable three-point shooters in the 15U division. Textbook shooting mechanics, great elbow alignment, kept his body perfectly squared with the basket on all of his jumpers, decent elevation, and good rotation on the ball. Walker was unselfish to a fault and could’ve been even more lethal and effective with more shot attempts.
Zach Bennett | Point Guard | Team Nitro 2025
Zach Bennett made defenders regret leaving him open and not accounting for him each time down the court. After defensive rebounds or turnovers, Bennett sprinted directly to the three-pointer line spotting up in a good shooting stance with his feet set and hands ready to let it fly immediately. This freshman prospect was automatic from the left side corner, whenever teammates hit him directly in his pocket Zach Bennett was money in the bank.
Luv Patel | Combo Guard | Arkansas Ducks 2025
6-foot sharpshooter, Luv Patel put his remarkable shooting prowess on full display, every time I looked up this kid was draining another jumper with his smooth and fluid shooting stroke that’s always capped off by a beautiful release right off of his fingertips and a strong follow-through.
Elem Shelby | Shooting Guard/Small Forward | Bryson Warren United 2025
Elem Shelby made sure to mark his spot with the first jumpshot of the game by firing from beyond college range The 6-foot-3-inch shooting marksman is equipped with picture-perfect shooting mechanics, he catches and releases at a high point fluidly with eyes locked onto the rim. Shelby’s knack for spotting an opening for a three-point opportunity and quickly getting to it without the need or help from an off-ball screen was supremely effective. Shelby showcased a crazy amount of potential, he’s definitely a name to remember, this kid played with a nice feel for the game and excelled whenever he was allowed the game come to him and simply play off of his instincts and IQ.
Jabari Griffin | Shooting Guard | Southern Assault 2025
Southern Assault’s Jabari Griffin has three-point sniper potential written all over him. Griffin made his presence felt as a deadly spot-up shooter who destroyed defenses with his court spacing and excellent range. Griffin stepped into every catch on the perimeter with the intention of letting it fly, his ability to get the ball up and out of his hands in a blink of an eye was outstanding and unguardable.
