Like anyone that places at State in the hurdles, Giroux is an excellent athlete. He was also a standout on the basketball court. Giroux jumps well and he has an impressive vertical. His spin-move is scary and tough to handle for any defender. Ty blocked a ton of shots and protected the rim. On offense, Giroux scored the rock from inside and out.

4×200 Meter Relay (8th) 1:34.16
I watched him against Thompson this winter and Bakkegard helped the Grovers take down the #6th ranked team in Class B at the time. His pull-up game was on-point that night. Bakkegard was feeling it! He plays hard and rebounds well for a guard. He is not just a scorer, Rylee can pass and set up others as well. Bakkegard will be ready for a big senior season next year.

I have watched him play a few times this spring and Englund is a very nice athlete. Carter plays AAU ball with ND Phenom and they have a tough squad. I have watched many athletic and agile finishes from the Shiloh Christian kid. He hits the boards hard and he is not afraid to dive onto the floor to grab a loose ball. He is an unselfish passer with good basketball instincts. Englund is a stock rising youngster to keep your eyes on.

He was an All-Region 1 selection. Strommen stats this season looked like this: 10.3 ppg, 2.9 apg, 6 rpg, and 59 FG%. I like Leighton’s game, he is a big guard that can score from all 3-levels. Long Jump (1st) 21-8.50 Triple Jump (1st) 42-03 High Jump (9th) 5-10
This kid is a special athlete. When I watched Erickson play in the basketball season he impressed me with a slam dunk. I thought he was just going in for a layup, instead, Erickson went up for the WHAM! Alex worked hard on the offensive glass, hustled all over the court, and contested everything. Erickson had quite the end to his senior year in Track and Field!

Shot Put (2nd) 54-04
He is a strong, tough, and big player that is not afraid of contact. Riley provides rim/lane protecting and consistent rebounding. Sunram was a key cog in the mighty Vikings run to the Region 1 Championship and the State Championship game. Expect Sunram to be a major player for Kindred next year, the Vikings lose a good amount of talent and Riley will step right in. Sunram is looking like a D1 football and shot put college prospect.
