Prospect standouts from the final day of action in Appleton:

Cody Schmitz Cody Schmitz 6'4" | SG Gale Ettrick-Trempeleau | 2024 State WI -- SF -- PM UA Rise

This past high school season, Schmitz was able to put up some ridiculous scoring numbers. But because he played for a smaller school, he didn’t get the coverage that he probably deserved. But this AAU period, Schmitz is making sure that he makes a name for himself. The small forward is a very versatile scorer who is able to get buckets in many different ways. He can use his positional size to bully defenders and score inside, or he can step outside and drain threes. 

Khalif Bettis Khalif Bettis 6'4" | SF Burnsville | 2023 State MN -- SG -- Minnesota Chill 

In a close win for Minnesota Chill over a solid Illinois T-Wolves squad, Bettis was unstoppable. He finished with 24 points and could not be stopped. When he wanted to score, he scored. It was as simple as that. Bettis has a really smooth pull up jumper and has also shown an ability to slash to the rim and finish inside. If he keeps improving, Bettis is going to be a real problem at the college level.
