JD Davison | Madison Spartans Basketball 2024 Black
JD’s physicality defensive is what really struck a chord with me while watching his game in action. It was easy to read into that JD is a high IQ basketball player that has a successive instinct for the game as a whole. JD also showed what a sound passer he was as I described him as a quick-hitter when he needed to unload a pass quickly. I think this young man is going to be a sound team-leader to look at over the coming years from Madison Abundant Life.
Mason Roquet | Wisconsin Academy 2024 Roquet
Talk about a young man that could fill up a basket, that was Middleton guard Mason Roquet of Wisconsin Academy. Not just was he a prolific scorer from all three levels, but he sold me as a team player, one that was a motivating guard that wanted the best out of his teammates, despite coming out on losing end when it was all said and done. Certainly a Big 8 prospect I will be following in the Madison area.
Danny Worrell | Madison Spartans Basketball 2024 Black
Danny was a forward prospect that I was intrigued with his balance for his 6’2 size down on the low block. His ability to build consistency down low with grabbing plenty of rebounds with physicality is what caught me up with this Sun Prairie West prospect’s game as a first look at it at our Midwest Showdown. I look forward to see what this young man can do with the brand new Wolves program this winter at Sun Prairie West.
Curtis Johnson | Madison Spartans Basketball 2024 Black
Curtis was another Sun Prairie prospect from the opposite side of town as Danny at Sun Prairie East, that showed sizeable physicality when it was his turn to finish at the bucket. Curtis needs a little more development in the post as far as really presenting his frame consistently, but his ability to be a road-grader in the paint show solid upside as he enters into his junior season at Sun Prairie West.
Adam Loberger | FVL Foxes 2024
Adam showed yet another prospect that had a lot of shifting ability when it came to getting to the bucket from the top of the key. Again, I always say consistency is key and Adam’s skillset to show that cutting ability even thru even light& high traffic areas, put him and his FVL Foxes 2024 in business in their big win over Wisconsin Playground Club on Sunday morning.
Corey Riesop | FVL Foxes 2024
Corey was another explosive guard prospect from the FVL Foxes 2024 program, that could fill it up on both ends of the court. What stood out to me about Corey was his ability to have his hands deep into WPC’s pocket when it came to his vision as he identified plenty of chaos defensively to cause a handful of turnovers for Wisconsin Playground Club. Corey also showed of a guard prospect that has a smooth stroke from the outside line from deep.
One More Prospect of Note:
Jack Thorpe | Team 1848 2024
