Henry Bethel (5’8 2025 PG, West Central United)- Bethel only knows how to play the game one way: hard. He is an extremely fast guard who uses his speed to blow by defenders when attacking the rim. Something that separates him as a ball-handler is his ability to change speeds which is an example of the IQ he plays with. A great facilitator and a three-level scorer. He’s fancy around the rim and his range is deep. Bethel is a fierce competitor.
Midwest Showdown: Sunday 15U Standouts Midwest Showdown: Sunday 15U Standouts (6’4 2025 F, Iowa Mavs Purple)- Witt is a two-way post player who can stretch the floor. Yes, he can shoot and make the occasional three-ball but where he is most dominant is on the inside. As a lefty, he uses his right shoulder beautifully to spin to the middle of the paint and show off that pretty left-handed jump-hook. His wall-ups are excellent and he can block shots. He is a very smart defender who can alter shots without fouling and rotates wonderfully when away from the ball. Witt always has superb positioning on both sides of the court, making him hard to beat.
Nathan Johnson Nathan Johnson 6'5" | SF Hutchinson | 2025 State MN (6’4 2025 F, Northstar Titans Bertsch)- Johnson uses both hands very well and can beat you on both ends of the floor. He does a great job of attacking the rim in face-up scenarios and can extend his game to the perimeter. He absorbs contact well and does a good job of staying strong and finishing through it. He does all the little things right and has all the intangibles. Johnson is constantly chasing down rebounds and seems to come up with many hustle-plays every game.
Ross Robertson (6’5 2025 C, Wisconsin Premier)- Robertson is an awfully polished post player. He plays very well at the high post and his face-up game is superb. He is such a good passer for his size and he sees the floor well. He’s patient on cutters and plays with his head up. He has a soft touch around the rim and loves his left shoulder, right-handed, jump-hook. He can shoot the midrange and at his size, it’s easy for him to shoot over the top of defenders. Robertson is a rebounding machine and a good shot blocker.
Braden Siroin Braden Siroin 6'1" | SG St. Anthony Village | 2025 State MN (6’1 2025 SG, Minnesota Heat GNC)- Siroin is a knock-down shooter. He has a fast release which helps him at his height catch defenders off-guard and shoot over them. He is most effective as a shooter in the catch-and-shoot situation but can create his own shot too. He also shoots the mid-range well. He’s a willing passer who is always looking for the open man and plays with a team-first attitude. Siroin’s game isn’t limited to perimeter scoring, he’s a gritty defender and always makes the right play.
