Malachi Gant (5’9 2025 PG, Minnesota Fury Narum)- Gant played an unbelievable game this afternoon. With less than a minute left in the game, he had a transition lay-up then he stole the in-bound pass and buried a three. His personal 5-0 run helped secure a win for his team. He was able to turnover defenders multiple times due to his tight pressure while guarding opposing ball-handlers. Once he’s turned you over, he wants to run. He is always making the right pass and is very creative at the rim. Keep your eye on Gant!
Riley Johnson (6’2 2025 SG, Northstar Titans Bertsch)- Johnson set the gym on fire in his game Saturday afternoon. Despite a hard-fought loss, he made six first-half threes and finished with eight in the game. Yep, you read that right, eight threes! His range was unlimited and he was pulling from everywhere. Johnson has a quick, clean release and at his height, he can shoot over smaller defenders. Off the dribble or catch-and-shoot, you name it, he’s got it.
Jackson Driessen (6’2 2025 G, Northstar Titans Bertsch)- In a guard-heavy roster, Driessen finds his place as a primary ball-handler. He plays with an excellent tempo, uses both hands well, and has great ball control. He also shows great vision, creating plenty of scoring chances for teammates. He has pure mechanics on his jumper and is a three-level scorer. However, it seems he favors the mid-range. When the ball is in Driessen’s hands, good things happen, he’s smart and plays with confidence.
Cole Beinborn (6’3 2025 W, Team Iowa)- During his game on Saturday, Beinborn took control offensively down the stretch. He’s an elite scorer who can put the ball in the hoop from anywhere he wants. He is fantastic at creating his own shot and thrives off the dribble. Another three-level scorer with great mechanics. He is a major clutch-time player and wants the ball in his hands during late-game situations. Beinborn is smooth and handles the rock with poise.
Clevon Easton Clevon Easton 6'0" | CG Madison East | 2025 WI Jr. (6’4 2025 W, Wisconsin Premier)- Easton Jr. is an outstanding athlete. When attacking the basket, you almost can’t stop his explosiveness. He has a quick first step and is fast off his feet. He is most effective when bullying his way inside. Once he finds himself in the paint, he is composed and shows great patience, waiting and looking for the open shot/man. He is fast to rotate defensively and is a good shot-blocker. In a game this afternoon, he sent one shot out of the air and into the stands, this probably is common behavior from him. Easton Jr. is a very exciting prospect, make sure you know his name.
Brandon Wilson (6’2 2025 G, Green Bay Freeze)- Wilson is a strong guard and he uses this to his advantage. He has a nonstop motor and using his physicality, he comes at you all game. He does a great job of using his body to power his way into the paint and he finishes very well through contact. He does a good job drawing fouls and getting to the line. This was on display Saturday night as he had three and-1 opportunities in the second half. He extends his game to the three-point line. However, he is most effective as a ball-handler in the pick-and-roll scenario. Wilson also beats you on both ends of the floor, another example of his motor.
