Kobe Smith Kobe Smith 6'1" | CG Andover Central | 2023 State KS | 6’2 G | Oz Elite Haynes 2023
Smith is a very complete guard, both offensively and defensively. On defense he was relentless on-ball, great lateral quickness and a hard man to beat, and crashed boards. Offensively, he can do just about everything one would want in a lead guard. He can take you off the dribble, finish at the rim in a variety of ways, he can distribute it, and showed off his three ball a little as well. Very polished game.
Cooper Chadwick | 5’11 G | Wichita Padres 2023 Keim
Watched Chadwick against a tough Oz Elite team. Playing against a swarming full court pressure defense and I got to say he was very poised and handled the pressure well. Utilized the push cross, high IQ player who knew when to stop his attack and dished it to teammates for open shots. Vocal leader on and off the court, which is always a great aspect to have.
Jase Lagers | 6’4 G | Oklahoma Showtime 2023-1
I really liked the versatility of this kid. Stockier build, could play the 2-4 depending on what the defense throws as you. Defensively can grab boards and start the break. Offensively was really effective on the attack, played off two more than not, strong finisher against both guards and bigs. He was able to adapt and get creative with his finishes if he needed to attempt and extended arm finish or a reverse.
Tristan Holdin (2024) | 6’6 G | Elevate Elite
Holdin was one of the more interesting prospects I saw this weekend. He can flat out shoot the ball. Stretched the floor well for his squad. Gets inside and rebounds on both ends of the floor, at 6’6 with his length and size he was able to get some easy putbacks as well. For how much of a threat he is on the offensive end, he was unselfish and distributed to teammates in their spots, opposed to forcing.
Garrett Robertson Garrett Robertson 5'10" | PG Hutchinson | 2023 State KS | 5’10 G | Oz Elite 2023 Haynes
Robertson can shoot the basketball. Gets to his spots off ball, if you lose track of him he will make you regret it. Very quick release, was able to pull off the dribble, quick catch and shoot when he did have a defender in front of him. Has some great qualities you would want in a smaller guard, feeds his guys when his shot isn’t there, gets hands in passing lanes, smart on the offensive end if he gets the ball down low.
