Impressive 2025’s – Month of May
Brogan Madson Brogan Madson 6'1" | PG Mankato East | 2025 State MN |5’10 G| MN Rise 2023/Mankato East
- Plays up two age levels and still stands out, lefty cold-blooded shooter with range
- Skilled & crafty, slash & scores, smooth passer, heady & smart, tons of potential
Bonfas Loria Bonfas Loria 6'5" | SF West Fargo | 2025 State ND |6’4 F| Inspired Athletics/West Fargo
- Long & athletic, gets up and down the court in a hurry, above the rim finisher/dunker
- Can overwhelm teams on glass, nice stroke from the line, slasher that can also post
Sullivan Ihry Sullivan Ihry 5'11" | CG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2025 State ND |5’11 G| Inspired Athletic/West Fargo Sheyenne
- A true PG that runs the show & directs traffic, serious 3pt shooting ability, leader
- I like his pull-up game, excellent communicator, smooth handles, solid/clever defender
Sam Hemery |5’9 G| Green Bay Freeze/Green Bay West
- He was scoring points like they were going out of style when I watched, uber-skilled PG
- Lefty with a sweet pull-up, great runner/floater, shook D all game, crafty/creative, DUDE
Brandon Wilson |6’2 G/F| Green Bay Freeze/Green Bay West
- He is a big guard that filled up the scoring column, he got to the rim early and often
- Wilson scored a ton in the paint, can also hit 15’ J, sharp & accurate passer, tough matchup
Andre’ Austin Andre’ Austin 6'3" | CG Bismarck | 2025 State #388 Nation ND |6’2 SG| Pack 2023/Bismarck
- He is one of the top athletes in his class, plays up two age divisions & still sticks out
- Versatile defender with quick feet & long arms, slasher & finisher, can shoot it, big potential
Drew Kempel Drew Kempel 6'3" | PG Bismarck Century | 2025 State ND |6’3 G| ND Phenom/Bismarck Century
- Better passer & facilitator than I realized, impressively strong for only a 2025, great vision
- Constantly beats on-ball D, gets deep in paint, finds open man, athletic finisher, smart & physical
Karson Ouse Karson Ouse 6'8" | SF Kindred | 2025 State #283 Nation ND |6’5 F| ND Phenom/Kindred
- I knew he was good, but now I realize he is on the verge of great, playmaker on the wing
- Has been shooting it well from 3, crushes boards on both ends, scores in the paint, athletic D
Parker Falcon Parker Falcon 6'6" | SG Bismarck Legacy | 2025 State ND |6’4 SG| ND Phenom/Bismarck Legacy
- Scary matchup, can play in-n-out, athletic & has all the skills, boards hard & consistent, competitor
- Shooting a very high 3FG% this spring, has a smooth pull-up, can get downhill and create, high ceiling
Walker Braaten Walker Braaten 6'4" | CG Westhope/Newburg | 2025 State #278 Nation ND |6’2 G| ND Phenom/Westhope-Newburg
- Pure scorer, can take over in a heartbeat, game-changing shooter from deep, phenomenal rebounder
- Great finisher in traffic w/ 1 or 2 feet, smart & skilled, gamer, big shot maker, super intriguing prospect
Mason King Mason King 5'10" | PG West Harrison | 2023 State IA |5’10 G| MN Lightning/Caledonia
- Hands down one of the best shooters from the month, showed deep extended shooting range
- Slashes like a hot knife through butter, creator, facilitator, skilled passer, very intriguing player
Jack Shaffer Jack Shaffer 6'7" | PF Bismarck | 2025 State ND |6’6 PF| Pack 2023/Bismarck
- Easily the biggest and strongest freshman that I saw in May, he looked big in the 17U division!
- Built like a FB offensive lineman, plays hard & physical, soft finishing touch & showed a nice floater
Layke Wold Layke Wold 5'10" | CG Chester Area | 2025 State SD |5’10 G| Sacred Hoops/Chester Area
- This kid burst onto the scene at Battle At The Lakes and put up gaudy numbers multiple times
- He was knocking down triples at an impressive clip, he boards well for a guard and drops dimes
Henry Bethel |5’8 G| West Central United/Fergus Falls
- Plays hard and tough, fast-twitch quick, blow-by speed, ball-on-a-string-handles, crisp passer
- Silky smooth pull-up game, dynamic playmaker, pushes the tempo, plays mature for his age
Luke Meyer |6’5 PF| Arena Basketball Club/Sioux City East
- Scores around hoop & with a 15’ jumper, long arms, has shown good hands, runs floor hard
- Has great shooting touch, plays with a very high IQ, knack 4being in the right place at the right time
Owen Vander Pol |6’5 PF| Arena Basketball Club/MOC – Floyd Valley
- He stood out to me as a tough interior player that moves well and hits the boards hard
- Old-school BIG, great feet, improved shooting touch, smart passer, potential to be 6’10″
