Griffin Linstra Griffin Linstra 6'5" | CG Manasquan | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 CG Manasquan 2025
Linstra was dynamic for Team Rio University throughout the day as opponents had little answer for him on the offensive end. The 6’3 guard was able to get into the lane consistently with his good handle and has a nice touch on his floater. Linstra set his teammates up nicely in the half court and played with poise with the ball in his hands. He played tough on-ball defense as he made it hard for opponents to get into their sets offensively. Linstra is a tough, guard prospect who made plays all day long for Team Rio University.
Alassane Amadou Alassane Amadou 6'9" | PF SCH Academy | 2023 State #188 Nation PA , 6’9 PF SCH Academy 2023
Amadou had a huge impact on the game as his presence was felt at both ends of the floor for Philly Pride. The 6’9 forward played above the rim as he threw down a couple of lobs and almost threw down an impressive poster dunk. Amadou showed the potential to stretch the floor as he knocked down a triple and did not hesitate when he took it. He swatted multiple shots around the basket and influenced numerous others. Amadou is a big-time shot-blocker who should continue to make plays at both ends of the floor this summer.
Jeremy Thompson, 6’4 SG John Champe 2024
Thompson had a standout game for the D1SA Spartans as he was locked in from the beginning of the game. The 6’4 guard shot the ball with confidence from distance as he knocked several triples early in the ball game. Thompson attacked the basket with a purpose, including a nasty poster dunk to begin the second half. He ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and used his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Thompson is an athletic, wing who should see his stock rise with more performances like he had today.
Aiden Derkack, 6’1 SG Colonia 2026
Derkack might have been the youngest player on the court, but that did not stop him from having a big showing for Team Rio University The 6’1 guard was able to get to the basket throughout the day and finished nicely around the basket. Derkack has a nice release on his jumper as he wastes little motion and rarely forced jumpers from distance. He was disruptive on the defensive end as he used his quick hands to create turnovers. Derkack has a bright future ahead of him as he will be a name to watch in the Garden State over the next couple of years.
Hampton Sanders Hampton Sanders 6'0" | PG Lawrenceville | 2023 State NJ , 6’0 PG Lawrenceville 2023
Sanders had a strong showing for the NJ Bulldogs as he brought the energy at both ends of the floor. The 6’0 guard played with confidence as he was able to get to his spot on the floor and knocked down jumpers from behind the arc. Sanders got into the paint consistently and made tough layups through contact around the rim. He played tough on-ball defense and got his teammates involved in the halfcourt. Sanders is a gritty, floor general who should continue to make plays for the NJ Bulldogs this summer.
