Ahmere Carson Ahmere Carson 6'2" | PG Anderson | 2023 State IN (EG10)
Carson has been perhaps the top bucket getter on the Prep Hoops Circuit in the Midwest during the spring. Thick body and compact lefty has good length. He is just a pure bucket getter. Uses his frame to finish extremely well in the paint. Defenders tend to just bounce off him. More than just a driver he is a good three point shooter pulling up with a quick release. Rebounds very well for a guard.
Braylon Russell Braylon Russell 6'3" | SF Lawrence Central | 2023 State IN (EG10)
Power forward that burst on our radar with a strong performance. Was at his best using his long strides getting up and down the floor scoring in transition. High pointed rebounds in traffic with his quick second jump.
Myles Colvin (Indy Nets)
Purdue commit had several big outings over the weekend. He has great size and physical tools to be an impactful player in the Big 10. Iso scorer that loves to create his own shot by sizing up his defenders and rising over them. Also threw down the best dunks all weekend as every time you would look over his head would be above the rim. The quickness and explosion around the hoop in short areas has greatly improved over the last year.
Brandon Trilli Brandon Trilli 6'5" | SF Munster | 2023 State IN (Team GRIII)
Trilli was outstanding on the opening night. Athletic wing that can play either the two or three. Cuts well away from the ball to get open. Clean jump shot which he excels at from the mid-range. Had a nice spring!
AJ Lux (Team GRIII)
Lux is starting to create some buzz among college coaches. The rangy two guard is a plus three point shooter that is at his best as a catch and shoot threat. Clean mechanics with quality size. Athleticism plays as well as he will sneak in every now and then for a dunk. Value comes in his shooting.
Mason Jones Mason Jones 6'7" | PF Valparaiso | 2023 State IN (Team GRIII)
Jones is a new age post that can beat you inside and out. Has a strong frame with broad shoulders. In the second half of their Friday night game he took over. Physical rebounding, couple dunks, and was effective as a mid-range shooter especially from the baseline.
Cooper Farrall Cooper Farrall 6'5" | SF Culver Academy | 2023 State IN (Team GRIII)
Farrall had his breakout game against INB where he was flat out unconscious from distance. He drained three after three. Wing with some grit to him that can really shoot it from beyond the arc.
Declan Ryan Declan Ryan 6'7" | PF Canisius | 2022 State NY (NEBC)
Ryan had one of the best outings we have seem from him against Full Package. The wide bodied five man was a force inside in that game. Finished with excellent footwork and touch around the hoop. Rebounded very well in his area. Stretched it with his shooting both mid-range and three.
Ryan Kelly (NEBC)
Kelly is a floor spacing four man who had a nice performance against the Fire. His value definitely comes when he is making shots from distance and in that game he was. Quick release with good form.
Terrance Warren (Texas Swish)
Warren is a two guard from Texas that jumped off the floor to us. The wing has a burst with the rock in his hands. Good slasher that got to the rim with consistency throughout the two games we saw where he finished or got fouled. Pop at the rim to finish! Sound jump shot particularly being effective spotting up from the corners.
Marshawn Vann (Texas Swish)
Vann is a point guard that is smaller but makes up for it with his speed, athleticism, and burst. Shifty ball handler that finishes with acrobatic layups and wins in one on one situations at a pretty high level.
Markus Becton (Mac Irvin Fire)
Becton is an Indiana product that can let it fly. He was at his best as a shooter but also did a nice job of finding holes in the defense for athletic finishes in transition. Big scoring outburst against NEBC in their finale.
