Xavier Gonzalez (Chicago Lockdown)
Gonzalez is a 5’9” point guard from Fenton that made a name for himself over the weekend. Drained a plethora of threes with a quick release and was effective as a drive and kick passer when he did get penetration.
Frankie Poshnjari (Chicago Lockdown)
Prospect 6’2” shooting guard has a strong frame at the wing spot. Competed on the defensive end. Scored some junk points around the hoop and ran the floor.
Alejandro Diaz (Chicago Lockdown)
Another Fenton guard here as Diaz stands at 6’0” with some slashing ability, connected on a couple triples, and was a good decision maker as a passer.
Jordan Brooks Jordan Brooks 6'2" | SG West Aurora | 2024 State IL (Illinois Wildboyz)
Brooks is a projectable two guard at about 6’2” with a clean shooting stroke. The 6’2” guard from Oswego made feathery jumpers both from three and pulling up in the mid-range. Flashed some passing flair throwing a couple bullet passes for dimes.
Lavar Spann (First Step Redhawks)
Spann has some really intriguing tools. Nice height and length for the two guard spot. Free and easy jumper that he knocked in at a high rate getting elevation off the floor. A lot of natural ability here that must be focused in because he has the talent.
Tyshawn Moore (First Step Redhawks)
Moore was the other wing from North Lawndale that caught our attention. Lanky frame on the perimeter that was impactful as a two way player. He hit several pull ups, mixed in some slashes, and was a plus defender getting steals and blocks.
Nick Lombardi Nick Lombardi 5'11" | SG Montini | 2024 IL (My Journey)
Lombardi was a fun player to watch. The Montini 5’10” guard is a lefty with long arms. He made shots puling up and off the catch from both mid-range and three. Cuts well without the ball and has a decent floater game.
Ryan Browder (Illinois Valley Warriors)
The Earlville High School 6’2” wing played up on the 17U level. Liked what we saw from him as a shot maker hitting several deep threes letting it fly with confidence. Got to the rim and has solid athleticism.
