I was mainly focusing on the 2024s and 2025s this weekend, so let’s look at the Indiana guys who stood out in these 2025 games that I saw over the weekend.
Julius Gizzi Julius Gizzi 6'3" | SG New Palestine | 2025 State IN – 6’0″ SF – New Palestine (D1 Indiana 2025)
Gizzi has been one of the growing stars on the circuit this year, and this weekend was no exception from Gizzi. He has very good footwork, an incredible amount of patience, great touch, and the ability to shoot the ball. He also rebounded the ball well. He continues to develop his scoring abilities, and he is going to have a very good high school career ahead of him.
Blake Gray (2026) – 6’0″ SG – University (INB Elite 2026)
Gray is a quick, pass-first point guard who may have been one of the best passers of the weekend. He was dishing out dimes from all over. He also hit a pair of nice step-back jumpers. This kid is going to have a nice future ahead of him, and as an eighth-grader, it is going to be fun to see him grow this summer and into next year.
Zyon Hill (2026) – 6’2″ PF – Indinaapolis Chatard (INB Elite 2026)
Hill is a smaller post who dominated the paint. He is still on the smaller side, but he is also an eighth-grader which means that he has a ton of time to grow. Hill did play a lot bigger than he is, and he was physical both in the paint and on the offensive end of the floor. He is a leader on the court and has a very nice future ahead of you.
Terrell Irons – 6’2″ SF – Avon (EG10 2025)
Irons is a big wing who uses his athleticism and ball-handling skills to get to the rim. He has a nice crossover, and he is able to get to his spot on the floor and stop and pop for a jumper with incredible rhythm. Irons also shot the ball very well from the outside with a pair of triples as he finished with 11 points in the loss in their opening game of the weekend.
Jack McKinsey Jack McKinsey 6'3" | SG Greensburg | 2025 State IN – 6’1″ SG – Greensburg (D1 Indiana 2025)
McKinsey is a glue guy for Greensburg who continued his hot shooting with another big weekend. He can really score it from every single place on the court, and he is going to be a fun player to watch develop in years to come.
Ben Slagley – 6’2″ PF – New Palestine (D1 Indiana 2025)
Slagley is a big post player who was able to make things happen all weekend. He is a big-bodied forward with both good footwork in the paint and a willingness to finish through contact inside. He was also incredibly aggressive on the glass. This was definitely Slagley’s best weekend on the circuit thus far, and he continues to raise his stock.
Caleb Wright Caleb Wright 6'0" | SG Fairfield | 2022 State IN – 6’2″ SG – Sheridan (EG10 2025)
Wright has been one of the best shooters on the circuit this year, and he did it again in Indy. Wright has an incredibly quick release, ad he is money on the catch and shoot. He is going to be one of the best shooters in the state for years to come, and this is going to get him looks from several college coaches.
