Bryce Heard Bryce Heard 6'6" | SG Homewood Flossmoor | 2025 State #86 Nation IL – 6’5″ SF – Kenwood (Mac Irvin Fire EYBL 15U)
Heard is a top-50 player in the class, and there is no real doubt why this is the case. Week after week, he continues to make a name for himself, and this weekend was no exception. Heard got to the rim with ease and was able to finish around everyone. His first step lets him drive past every defender, and he will be fun to watch over the next couple of years.
Elijah Daugherty – 5’10″ PG – Rockford Christian (My Journey 2025)
Daugherty is a quick little guard who can score the ball in many different ways. He has nifty handles and is silky smooth around the rim. He is also incredibly tough, and although he is always looking to attack, he is more than willing to pull up for a mid-range floater or hit the open three from the outside. Daugherty is also incredibly unselfish and has his eyes up to kick to the open man. Great all-around weekend from Daugherty.
Brent Wofford Brent Wofford SG Mt. Morris | 2025 State MI III – 5’8″ PG – Mount Morris (CMB Runnin Rebels 2025)
Wofford may have had the best lay-up game that I have seen all year. The aggressive guard looked to take it to the hole every chance that he got, and with his insane body control and toughness, he seemed to finish every single one. He is tough and is willing to go through contact from the bigger post defenders, and he also has mastered the english on the ball for layups. With a fearless guard of this caliber, teams should take notice.
Deuce Owens – 6’3″ SF – Mishawaka Marian (5Star 2025)
Owens is a big wing who made his living with his aggressiveness in the paint. It seemed like every time that he went into the lane, he either finished or drew a foul. On Saturday when I saw him, he put up 24 points in every different way, and he was able to throw down an emphatic one-handed jam.
Mason Bales Mason Bales 6'1" | SG Northridge | 2025 State IN – 6’1″ SF – Northridge (Indiana Attack Basketball 2025)
Bales was one of the better scorers of the weekend, and he was lights out for Indiana Attack as he has all season long. In their two wins on the weekend, Bales scored 19 points and 20 points. He does not quite have the long-range shooting that he has shown in the past, but he was able to get into the lane and finish through contact. He also threw down his first-ever in-game dunk in their final game on Saturday night.
