He looked comfortable coming off screens, shooting wide open, and shooting with someone in his face. He showed a good feel for getting open for his shot but wasn’t afraid to go inside if need be. His shots went in from all over the court.
Amarion Jackson, Team Takeoff 2025, SG, 5-7 – This young man was an opportunistic player who created chances for himself. He seemed to understand his height disadvantage and how to get open without hops. There were many times he simply appeared open out of nowhere, having given his defender the slip, and his teammates whipped him the pass for an easy two points. He also used defensive switches to his advantage for points.
Bryce Long Bryce Long 6'3" | SG Greece Olympia | 2025 State NY , Team Cray 2025, PF, 6-2 – One day after post player Hunter Streb Hunter Streb 6'5" | C Spencerport | 2025 State NY made a big impression, his hybrid teammate followed suit.
When Bryce Long Bryce Long 6'3" | SG Greece Olympia | 2025 State NY hit the floor, he looked like a combo forward, one capable of playing the 3 and four spots. He handled the ball with ease and used his handles to get create scoring opportunities. He didn’t always finish, but he went up strong and always followed his shot. I was most impressed by how he used his length down low on both ends of the floor. He wasn’t just generating scoring chances but finding open shots for teammates and altering opposing players’ attempts. This smart player won’t be on the market for very long.
